Trading Lanyard medals?

My daughter has a Princess lanyard medal that we got for her in 2008, but she is no longer interested in Princesses.

Does anyone know if there is any trade-market for lanyard medals, in the same way that pins are tradeable? I know they can't be traded to CM's but wondering about trading among collectors?

If you join pinpics.com (free), they have people trading pins and I think you can put the medal up for a trade. I don't know how much luck she would have but if someone is looking for that specific item, she may be able to trade for a pin or a different medal.
