I see lots of people excited about Trader Vic's . What's up? Is it great food and atmoshphere?

I think you meant Trader Sam's. It's a lively tiki-bar with a great atmosphere, live Hawaiian music on certain evenings, fun staff and the crowds join in on the fun. I don't want to give away too much information because it's fun to have that first time experience. I've never had any of the food so I cannot comment on that. I'm really not a drinker and I may have one maybe two drinks but it's all about the atmosphere.

Yes Trader Sams!!!..... is it approriate for teens or is it an adult only type of place?

This thread discusses if kids are allowed. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2875184 It seems more of a bar then a restaurant to me. So I think it's more an adult place.
