Trader Sam's with young teens and grandparents?

We went with DD9 on our last trip and really enjoyed it. Sitting outside is nice but the whole point imo is the immersive experience inside. The changing pictures, the interactive drink orders and the decor are park of the charm.

I guess we're the minority. My kids beg to go here, daily! We're usually just a group of 4 but we have manged to pull 2 high tables together and fit 6 or 7. Granted we get there 5 minutes before the doors open at 11:30 am. We love it that much. My girls love the non-alcoholic options. The food is super yummy and we're always entertained by the "shows". I say do it. But be warned, it will packed. That's why it's our go-to lunch option.

There really is no substitute for a trip to Trader Sams. My kids (currently 3 and 7) also beg to go, and we have to make sure that a Trader Sams meal is planned for each visit. The theatrics inside are fantastic and really fun. The menu is small, and the food is on the lighter side (think bar snacks), but very tasty. The interior is small, but if your group doesn't mind splitting into two parties, you'll be fine. I'd suggest getting there closer to five, just to ensure quick seating. kids are welcome any time before 8pm. The veranda is nice, but the experience won't begin to compare to getting a table inside.
