Trader Sams drinks to go?

I've yet to make it to Trader Sams. On Saturday July 15, I'll be at the Magic Kingdom until about 5 pm and was wondering if I could take the monorail over to the Poly and grab a drink in a souvenir mug to go - or is that not allowed? Otherwise, I can get there a little earlier and drink it there. I really just want a mug.

You must go inside and order to receive a mug. The mug the drink is served in is not the one you keep. You show your receipt on the way out and they give you a brand new one in a box.

You can also get mugs when ordering at the Tiki Terrace. But the same procedure, you order your drink then take your receipt inside to the host stand to get your new mug in a box.
