Trader Joes Favorites?

I'll add their jarred Puttanesca sauce. It's a tomato based pasta sauce with capers and lots of other yummy stuff. It's my new favorite pasta sauce!

Looove Trader Joes! My top faves:

*Three Cheese pasta sauce
*Cioppino (sold in bags in the frozen section)
*Small bags of personal size fresh pizzas--love the goat cheese with spinach and tomato
*Gnocchi (also in the frozen section)
*Green Tea Mochi Ice Cream

I LOOOOOVE their Tahini-Free Hummus.

Organic Marinera Sauce.

HUGE selection of sulfer-free dried fruits.

Pesticide-Free Frozen Blueberries and Spianch.

Raw Honey.

Almond Butter.

Sprouted Wheat Bread.

Tempeh.

OK let's face it, I do ALL of my shopping at TJ'S!!!!!!! :lmao:

PARTY SALSA!!! We're taking two containers with us on vacation. It's the only food I'm packing. :)

Thanks for the suggestions. My nearest Trader Joes is an hour away. I took the day off work today to drive my mother in law to a Dr Appt in that town, and took my list and a cooler with me, for a TJ's run on the way home. I was SO glad that even though they were out of the Cheese and Green chile tamales in the freezer, they were restocking and found some in the back for me. That is my all time favorite. I did pick up some of the Pomengranite Limeade I saw recommended on one of these threads. One of the stockers also confirmed it's fantastic, but he mixes his with the tropical carrot juice, said he knows it sounds off, but it tastes great.

I love the sliced Blue/Jack Cheese... much easier to put onto a burger then blue cheese crumbles and sooo YUUUUMMMMM.

I am there at least once a week and I have to say I have some new ideas from everyone on here.

My usual:
Watermelon so yummy and precut worth the extra cost IMHO
Cheese Tortellini super yummy cheap (1.99) and freezes well
Fresh artichokes always a good price
eggs
Milk
small straw/banana yogurts DS LOVES these
choc. croissants closest to disney we've found
whipped cream cheese
frozen veggies almost all of them
Everything bagels and Raisin bread
Madagascar vanilla bean cookies super yummy with tea.
Egg pasta
grilled chicken strips great for salad
salsa always a must
unsweet. bottled ice tea

I always find something new when I go to try and I will have to look for the frozen spices the next time I go.

My favorite are:

The frozen Jasmine Thai Rice
Frozen fettuchine alfredo
frozen chicken strips (they are made with whole chicken tenders rather than others that are not)
boxed macaroni and cheese
chocolate crossiants
the frozen New York Cheesecake
Vanilla Meringues
bottled sweet tea
pizza dough
fresh mozzarella cheese
sweet apple chicken sausage
sweet potato fries

As you can see we eat a ton of stuff from Trader Joe's. In fact this month I am going to try and do all my grocery shopping there.

Now that i do low carb I found trader joes the cheapest place to buy flax seed meal, and almond flour as well! They also have shredded cabbage w/out any carrots in the mix. These are just my new favorites.

I'm heading to my local TJ's today for the first time, and I'd like to thank everyone for posting some of their favorites here! I've made a list from everyones suggestions, and after I go to TJ's I may have some new things to add too! :goodvibes

Husband likes the frozen breaded eggplant

Husband and kids like the sparkling clementine juice beverage

Husband loves their hummus and sushi sampler

Daughter loves the vanilla yogurt covered pretzels

Trader Joes spagetti/marina sauce is good

Pretzel bread! Dont like the pretzel rolls as much

Husband likes many of the Trader Joes beer

Just went this morning! The veggie and flax seed tortilla chips are great! Love the granola, wraps, pretzels and honey! Don't forget the wine!! And just found out that they are opening a new store in Monmouth County,NJ!!!

I love TJ's products. Just to name a few of my fav's:

Chicken meatballs-in the refrigerated section
Pretzel Slims
Organic pasta sauce (any variety)
Frozen potstickers (DS fav)
Frozen multigrain french toast

I could keep going, but those are the weekly staples. Too bad there isn't a TJ's in Orlando.

My favorite is the Corn and Chile Tomato-less Salsa. It's the best! The only problem is I'm in Colorado and we don't have a Trader Joe's in the state. Every time my husband travels to CA for business, I make him bring back a bunch of goodies from TJ's. Wish we would get one here!!!

Three buck Chuck (used to be two buck chuck).

They have killer coffee (diner blend is great) and inexpensive too.
The pumpernickel pretzel sticks are AWESOME!

The frozen mandarin chicken, paired with the frozen brown rice. This is one of our favorite dinners.

The refrigerated blue cheese dressing.

The tarte d'alsace (ham and cheese flatbread - a little pricey, but worth it).

I live a couple of blocks from a Trader Joes (1 min. walk), and truth be told, I don't go nearly as much as should, so I am taking notes on this thread of what others recommend.

My go-to products are:
- Bagged Lettuce
- Frozen peppers
- Cheese - I love their cheese isle and find it cheaper than the local Jewel.
- Frozen pizza
- Fage Yogurt
- Prosciutto - Very good price on this
- Candied Ginger - I have a bad stomach and always carry TJs candied ginger with me
- Pasta sauce
- Pizza sauce
- WINE... The #1 reason I go to TJs. Good wine, great prices.
