Wondering? I don't think I have ever seen this occur so I will ask. Do Dvc people ever trade reservations?
I didnt put specifics here because I think that is against rules

I think that is the trade part of the Rent/trade board. Be sure to read all the rules.

it is theoretically possible.

due to the differing number of pts required by the different resorts and the different value owners put on the different resorts - as well as the risk involved in traveling at different times of the year - means it virtually never happens in practice.

I figure the main reason for a trade would be to get the 11 month window at a different resort. While trading is possible I would imagine, it likely doesn't happen often for the reasons previously indicated. I think most people who want points from a different resort for a specifc trip just rent a reservation or rent/transfer points from an owner at that resort, then rent out their points to someone else to recoup the cost.

funny, I just did this. But it was with a very good friend. She wanted BWV and I wanted BCV so we traded reservations. There was a slight point difference, but decided for us she will just owe them to me.
