Trade for Acapulco?

Has anyone used II to trade for an Acapulco resort? After reading some of the roach stories regarding one of the Hawaii resorts, I'm a little leary but I'd love to go.

Any suggestions/comments would be great.

There's only one resort on the DVC list though a number in II. None are 5* and the reviews/ratings on TUG are not all that supporting. If you can get a trade through other sources to the Mayan Palace, I think you'd be more satisfied.

I was on the May repositioning cruise that stopped in Acapulco. Having visited the city, I wouldn't go back.

It's dirty, congested and the peddlers/taxi drivers are very, very aggressive. Maybe the resort that you have in mind is okay, but unless you plan on staying there 24/7, I'd seriously think about going elsewhere.

For what it's worth, Cabo San Lucas was absolutely beautiful. We're thinking of doing an exchange there some time in the future.
