My daughter and I both have it on our phones- she can track me and I can track her. Its very funny when I am driving home from someplace and get a text saying "hey mom you are coming up to a mcdonalds, can you pick me up a number 6" LOL

We have the paid version of Life 360 and make no apologies for it.

And, there is no reason to apologize....that is the choice your family has made. I was made to feel like I had to explain my position to not track my child (hence this thread) and I don't feel I should be judged. I'm just happy to see such a mix of opinions here.

Just find my iphone. She is forbidden to turn location services off (for us). She's a pretty good kid, mostly for safety. But, it's been used a time or two to confirm she's where she's supposed to be. She got caught once not being where she was supposed to be. The embarrassment of her parents showing up there to pick her up and the temporary loss of her phone straightened her right up.
