tracking the ship

is there a site where we can go to to track where the ship is right now? Cruising Sat and with the weather wondering if the Magic is still on course for Castaway Cay and docking on time Sat am

Don't know of any way to track the ship, but so far only the Western Caribbean is affected with Charley moving over the Cayman Islands earlier today. No word on damage etc. there.
The Magic should dock on time Saturday, but Sunday's docking in Key West is iffy depending on where Charley hits and how much damage there is. Two other cruise ships due in Key West today and tomorrow have already been diverted because of the storm.

No matter where the Magic ends up you will have a great time. Have a "Magical" cruise!

The Magic had a sea day today sailing from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Castaway Key. Since the Two Palms camera in Port Canaveral was showing calm seas, I'm sure they had an uneventful day and that they'll have a great time on Castaway tomorrow.

Looks like Saturday might be a little damp but shouldn't be a problem for docking unless the Charley deviates significantly from the predicted track. I've been following the predictions for two days now and so far he's stayed on the course they expected.

As of 3 pm Friday, Port Canaveral is closed, and all ships ordered out of port. www.portcanaveral.org says they will re-evaluate the situation tomorrow morning (Saturday), so the Magic may not be able to dock there, and for sure it will be a mess even if it does because a lot of flights have been canceled into Orlando.

My DD works on the Magic so I'm ALWAYS concerned. Talked to her via ship to shore phone last night (11:45 Thursday) and they weren't having any problems.
