Tracking Castaway Cay docking, need your help!

I would hate to see potential guests base their cruising dates on unofficial stats, or even DCL's "official" stats (unless they were identical each year - - highly unlikely), because weather and seas are very unpredictable in this area.

What I was hoping to show was that there's really no difference based on which month you are sailing. So far, the stats would seem to bear that out, albeit from a small sample size.

I think that anyone who takes a vacation anywhere should be aware that weather is at best difficult to predict, that the weather in January of one year will not necessarily be the same in the next year, and that the potential always exists for a cruise ship to miss a port. I would think this is common sense.

Anyway, I mostly just wanted to satisfy my own curiousity. Please do not base any vacation decisions on the questionable research of some yahoo on the internet (me being said yahoo).

what you've done here is a terrific service. one thing we see is that the statistic about not docking 1/2 the time is not supported by the data in any way.

while you can never predict a given sailing date, the odds are definitely weighted to docking versus not docking.

The majority of our excursions are on CC, but que sera sera.

You never can predict mother nature!
