Tracfone referral ?

It has been taking me 5-7 days to receive mine. I just think they are swamped right now. Plus when I called about another type of referral problem on Friday evening, they told me the "Refer-a-Friend"is closed on Sat & Sun. I said, "It's nearly Christmas Eve, the busiest time of year for you; you have a promotion that is specifically for activations when you know most people will be activating ON Christmas & need a referral by then, & you will NOT have people in the office tomorrow to specifically HANDLE this?"

I just recieved an email with my free 100 minutes . I think Imazdi is right that they are just swamped right now.

I just got my mom a phone for x-mas. Tried to do the refer-a-friend since I have one, well, to make a long story short, the e-mail never went through but I was persistant on the phone and finally a supervisor was able to get the minutes for both her and I. I too can provide anyone a referral, just PM me.

I tried calling them 3 times last night each time I was told they wore too busy and to either open a techical support case online or call back later. I finally found an email address on line and send them an email last night telling them my problems. This morning I checked my email ad suprise, surprise included in it was the 100 minute referal.

Not a question about a referral, but I was wondering if you can add minutes to a phone via the website without actually having the phone in hand. I want to put more minutes on my daughters phone, but I don't have the phone here.

I think you need the phone in hand to add the airtime to it.

I always spend the extra $5 and add another 30 days to their minutes.

I saw this mentioned elsewhere too, when someone was adding on minutes. Where does this show up on the website & how many minutes do you get for $5. Isn't there a $10 offer too? How many minutes do you get adding on that?

I saw this when I was getting the minutes on line for DS. I didn't get it however, because he already had over 300 minutes to start.
