Tracey's wedding weight loss attempt (comments welcome & needed!!)

Tracey,

Your attitude about your co worker for next year is a good one. That will really help you in dealing with this situation. Maybe something will change and you won't have to work with her, if not, I know you can handle it.

I still say those walks to and from work are worth a lot gym or no gym! I hear you on the summer clothes. :sad2:

Keep up the good work with the food, Happy Mother's Day (a bit late)!

Hi Tracey,

I'm glad to hear that you have had some nice weather over there so you can enjoy your deck!:cool1:

I hear you about the scale and the summer clothes....I'm in the same boat!

I hope you have a great weekend ahead!:goodvibes

Its been a tough few days :(
I didnt get to the gym after my last post (didnt go for 2 weeks)
Then i weighed in last Friday to find out i had gained 7 lb's in 2 weeks :scared1: :sad1:

This has me at my highest weight :( 13 stone!!! This is a bad weight as last time i hit this i had a few health issues, i was shocked & upset when i got on those scales!
I also had a nurses appointment for a health check that day & i just burst into tears in her office! didnt help that i hadnt told DH & after resisting a cake & choc chip cookie at work, he told me he'd bought me a fresh dairy cream apple turnover!!! i was horrible to him & he didnt know why!

The good news is this seems to have kicked my lardy rear end into gear!
Nurse is having me back for blood test on Wednesday
Got appointment at gym with trainer tomorrow to discuss my programmes
After talking to the trainer on Saturday she said missing the gym for 2 weeks would make me gain :(

There was this guy at the gym who joined about the same time as me last year & he has lost loads of weight - i asked his friend how much he had lost.... 12 STONE (168 lb's) :scared1:
he has lost that in a year & has been doing WW (on his own)
that has motivated me too!

I'm just praying that scale goes down!!!

Tracy -- I am so sorry that you were upset at the scale, but look at you! You turned it right around and got back into the swing of things! I am so happy for you! :thumbsup2 I hope you are proud of yourself! :yay:
Good job on walking to and from work whenever possible. Not only are you doing something so great for yourself (wish I could say the same. ;) ), but think of what you are saving in gas or masstran money, too!

Come on, chickie! We can do this! I have so much faith in you! We both want to look good in our summer clothes!

Thanks Cam  you are doing an awesome job :)
sometimes we have to hit rock bottom to bring us back up eh!
i should be grateful that this is my rock bottom & its nothing worse!!

I forgot to mention that it was a work collegues birthday & she bought loads of goodies in - including DIP...& i resisted the lot!!
Was pretty proud of myself for that :)

And proud you should be, Tracey! I know DIP is a big red light food for you. Kudos to you for resisting temptation! party: :thumbsup2

Tracey,

I am sorry you were feeling so down, but proud that you have picked yourself up and gotten back on track. As you say, sometimes we have to hit rock bottom to really make us realize how much we want change.

I hear you on feeling a bit of envy for the guy at the gym, I see this woman at Weight Watchers that started when I did and is at goal and has lost over 100 pounds. I am happy for her but sad I can't seem to find that strength within myself.

As you said in my journal, we will do this together! I know we can do it, heck we have done really well in the past, so the future should be no different. I am proud you resisted so much yummy food, that is great and shows how much you want this!

We can do it!

 Tracey,

I am so sorry that you have been down. I understand how you feel, as I have been gaining as well. You are right, sometimes you need to hit bottom to get back into things. We will do this together, and you made a great start by resisting the evil dip. This time next year, someone will be at the gym asking you how much you have lost because you look so hot.:thumbsup2

Beth

 Tracey,

I'm sorry you've been feeling down, WISH sis. I am so proud of you for getting back OP and for resisting the dip! That is success, my friend.:cheer2:

I've been having a hard time with my weight as well. Just a year ago, I was complaining that I couldn't break the 204 pound mark. Now, I am at my heaviest weight of all time. :( It's hard, but like you said, sometimes you have to hit the bottom to get back into the groove. We CAN do this, Tracey!!:cheer2:

I hope you have a great day and a wonderful weekend ahead.

Good job for getting back on track, Tracey! You can succeed! We all need a swift kick in the **** sometimes!!
