OK, repeat after me - I will NOT buy dip again, I will NOT buy dip EVER AGAIN!

Trust me, you'll thank me...

You are very right, nothing beats time with family. Were you sharing wine with your SIL? Why did she keep dropping everything? :lmao:

Tomorrow starts a brand new week, forget about the naughty stuff you ate this weekend and start fresh tomorrow!

Hi wish buddies

Boy was i drunk last night!! The 1st glass of wine went straight to my head!!!

lovinaz - yes my SIL was drinking the wine too, she had set the table so romantically she said it was a pre-valentines meal - lovely white tablecloth.... until she spilt the strawberry shot! Then Gary was spraying shaving foam onto the tablecloth to try to get the stain out (it really does work!) Then she bought out the lovely desserts with little heart shaped sweets on the plates(choice of 2 desserts), i asked Gary if he wanted to try mine so SIL asked DB if he wanted to try hers & promtly dropped her rasberry topped dessert onto the lovely white tablecloth again!!! So out came the shaving foam again! Meanwhile i had laughed so much i was choking on a sweet!!! Not very romantic but sooo funny! THEN we were playing pool & i turned around with my pool que in my hand & knocked my large glass of wine off the table & it smashed onto the floor!!!

I went shopping today & DIDNT buy any dip :woohoo:
Went to the gym again this morning, burnt 400 cals :woohoo:
Went to mums for tea i only had a small roll, 2 mini sausage rolls, a few pickled onions & a small piece of cheese cake.

Hope you have a Wonderful week ahead! Not sure if I'll be back here before I leave for FL, but I'll be thinking about you. I hope you don't get too much more bad weather.

Hi Tracey, it sounds like you had a very fun weekend, those are the best kind! Your dinner sound fun if a bit messy! I think you did overall very well given all the temptations you had. So good job! And very good job going to the gym and not buying dip! Off to a new week for us all!

Congrats on making the gym 3 in a row! That's AWESOME!!!

Have a great week!

Wow your Monday looked awesome! Way to go making it to the gym three times in a row. I'd say that is turning out to be a very good investment! Keep up your hard work!

Yay for getting to the gym so often!! That new gym is really working out for you, aren't you glad you switched?

Scones are scones here as well. Biscuits are something different. I don't even know how to describe an American biscuit. It's like a hockey puck (size and shape) of flaky, buttery dough. They usually aren't flavored and they are super yummy served hot with butter and jam (or some like them with gravy :scared: )! OK, I'm torturing myself now...

Keep up the good work!

Hi Tracey,

Keep up the good work!!! You are doing a great job :)

Ate out tonight with work collegues to celebrate the fact that we break up tomorrow for 1 week  thats why alcohol is on!!!
I am so ready for the break - feeling really tired!!!

Got DD's school report when i got home - it was excellent, but had a few digs/comments on her attendance e.g. 'a brilliant report - but think even how much better it might have been with 100% attendence!!!' (due to us going to FL to get married) i wrote a long letter at the time explaining why we were going & asking for work to take with us (we booked so far in advance that at the time we were waiting to find out which school she was going to) & they still wouldnt authorise it.
This is from a school that has had complaints for the number of extra inset days (school closures) they have taken, up to the point where they are telling parents to teach missed lessons via the internet!!!
The only other comment was that she neeeds to participate more in lessons - speak out, ask for help etc
So i have written a lengthy reply on the parents reply form!! Not sure if this was a good idea after 2 large glasses of wine & 2 ciders!!! Heres what i wrote:

'I am very pleased with Leannes report! With regards to her attendance - the only unauthorised absence was when we went abroad for our wedding, which i had asked to be authorised & had offered to take work with us - this was declined! (even after a lengthy letter) All other absence was due to genuine illness & authorised. Or due to extra inset days.
I know Leanne has felt intimidated by outspoken class members & i feel this contributes to her confidence in speaking out & asking for help during lessons.
We have spoken to Leanne about this & have encouraged her.
I am a little concerned that Leannes confidence in her abilities has declined slightly in secondary school, but we are monitering the situation & encouraging & praising her efforts.
If any suggestions can be made to help her in this area they would be appreciated.
Well done Leanne! We are proud of you!
Regarding attendence - i telephoned the school several weeks ago to discuss the matter & was told i would get a return call that i am still witing for - 3 weeks later.'

What do you think????? :confused3
I am angry about the attendence issue - i work in a school its not like i will take her out again, but we were getting married!!!!
Rant over :)

We are taking 60 children to the movies tomorrow afternoon to watch 'Charlotte Web' nice end to the week before we break up :goodvibes

That is pretty irritating about the school's comments. As long as she is doing well in school, I wouldn't worry about it. Some kids are more outspoken than others, if she is learning, that is the most important part! You're letter sounds pretty coherent after all that alcohol!!

Great news about the gym fee! And keep it up, you will be jogging for 30 minutes on the treadmill in no time! I never used to be able to do it, but now I am gradually increasing my speed and incline.

Your eating looks great! Esp. for it being a holiday chock full of chocolates and candy. I bet the cupcake was great :)

It is fun getting the wifey cards. Hopefully that happiness can overshadow the annoying school stuff. As a teacher, I hate sending comments home. I never can convey what I'm really trying to say, and often, I'm just reaching for things. Phone calls are so much better! And honestly, you're the mom, and I'm sure the wedding will be a much more lasting memory, rather than a silly worksheet or whatever :)

Have fun at the movie!

 Tracey,

I think you made some good comments on Leanne's school report. :goodvibes I don't understand why the school wouldn't give her an authorized absence for your wedding either. :confused3 I would think that the administrators would try to be understanding and would have allowed her to take the work with her. I hope that you can talk to the teacher about the attendance thing soon.

Great job getting to the gym! Keep up the good work!:cheer2:

Have a great weekend!:cool1:

Hi Tracey, I think your letter to the school was right on! As a parent you have to advocate not only for your child but yourself and your right as her mom. YOU are her mother and if YOU think it was okay to pull her, THEY need to keep their mouths shut. I ran into the same thing for our cruise when I took my kids out for four days. You would have thought I had taken them out for a month judging by the reaction of one of his teachers.

You are doing so well with going to the gym and good job trying out jogging. In no time you will be able to go longer than four minutes at a time. Keep up the good work!
