Hang in there with that teacher. Love that you kept walking, but I'm amazed that she followed you out! Pretty nervy! Can the principal (what are they called over there?) maybe make a general statement at a staff meeting about teachers using TA's effectively and remind teachers that TA's have fixed hours? Luckily it is almost time for the Holiday Break and you will have some wonderful time off! :thumbsup2
 
Tracy -- so glad you came here to vent but sorry you had to. That teacher definitely sounds like she is taking advantage of you. Don't let her push you around, and kudos to your co-workers who offered to jump in and help with the grading.

Your food choices sound so interesting to me, but my favorite has to be the mickey toast! :teeth: I hope you don't let anyone get you so stressed that you need consolation from food. ;)

Well i think the teacher must have felt guilty as she was really nice to me the next day & all that stuff she asked me to set up for the next day wasnt needed as she had forgot they were making xmas cards!!!!! so that was a waste of my time!! I ended up running around madly that morning re-setting up for art!
I think she was also stressed as she runs the choir & they performed at our local church last night & this teacher had organised 90% of it. I went to watch it & they were really good! She is just one of those people who is on the go constantly & expects everyone else to be the same!
One good thing is i WI this morning & had lost 2lb's !!!! Looking at my food i havnt got a clue how i managed that! Its either cos i havnt made the gym for 3 weeks & my muscle is turning to fat or its all the running about the teacher has me doing!!! So maybe i shouldnt complain!!!

Amy - my butt is much better now but not completly gone yet! i finished my antibiotics Tuesday for the chest infection, but i'm still coughing so i just hope it doesnt flare up again (fingers crossed). Sorry i missed you but have a great trip :)

Lovinaz & CACrusin - cheesy wotsits come in a bag like crisps (you call them chips!) & are small & sausage shaped & are covered in a orange cheesy dust stuff & they melt in your mouth! Not sure but i think you may have something similiar called cheetahs!!!!!!

keenercam - thanks for stopping by, & yes i have some great co-workers, i even like the teacher i moaned about, just dont always agree with her practice :)
& thanks for reminding me not to use food as consolation, i really shouldnt!

I love all of the different snacks you can get over in the UK. It's so fun to go to the grocery store and just pick up random stuff :) I have to say your smarties are way better than ours! But it is funny how the names can be similar and the products are totally different!
 
Glad the teacher was nicer. Hopefully, she will be better after the holiday craziness is over. Congrats on the 2lbs! :cheer2: :banana: :cheer2: Even though we are all eating things we shouldn't, I'm not sure we are actually eating that much more - there is just no time to eat sometimes! Anyway, what ever the loss is from, celebrate it! :teeth:

Cheesy wotsits = Cheetos -- ah yes, yum! nothing like licking the neon orange stuff off your fingers :rotfl2: .

Wow where has the week gone??? A quick rundown:
I've finished work now till 3rd Jan :cool1:
Get paid tomorrow :cool1:
Gary & I had our first marital tiff :sad2:
But we've made up now :cool1:
Food not great, but i will reserve judgement until WI tomorrow ;)
Nearly on top of xmas stuff :cool1:
Still not been back to gym :sad2:
We have freezing fog that is forcasted into xmas week when Gary is on call for gritting the roads so he could end up at work xmas eve/day & new years eve :sad2:
My butt is doing ok :banana:
Chest infection almost gone but my chest is kinda week & tickly & i have pain in my back between my shoulder blades from it & it makes me feel out of breath!!!!

I'll list food for today (not as bad as the last few days!!!)
breakfast - none
lunch - 3 crisp breads & yogurt
dinner - spag boll with bread
think i will end up having dip tonight as we are going to watch a movie :)

I'm going to the pub tomorrow afternoon, meeting up with some girl friends Gary is looking after Leanne. I could end up hung over, but i really dont want to feel ill!
We are visiting my brother Saturday afternoon & will have a few drinks then & food & then we are going out in the evening to watch a group, so another alcohol fuelled day!!! - And so the Christmas festicities begin :rolleyes1
Will try to catch up with everyone ASAP
 
Glad you have some time off, Christmas is under control, and the butt is better. :teeth: Take it easy with your cough and your evenings out. We had three parties in a row last week, and I've been exhausted ever since :faint: Here's some :sunny: so the weather improves so you and Gary can spend the holiday(s) together.
 
Oh dear, i come today with my head hung in shame
WI this morning - i gained the 2lb's i lost last week plus another 2 lb's!!
So a 4 lb gain :(
TOM is due this week but i dont think i can put all the 4 lb down to that!!!
I have been eating terribly. I need to set myself some goals for next year!
& yes i did have a full tub of dip with pringles last night when we watched a movie!
 
Just read the notice about the boards being down over the next couple of days.
So just wanted to wish everyone a very merry christmas & a peaceful new year (incase i dont get back on :))

And my goals for next year are:

To exercise at least twice a weeek.
To spend more time outdoors with family at weekends (we used to go for lots of walks but it now hardly ever happens!!)
To get back on track with my food in the new year - strict low carb for the first 2 weeks, then gradually introduce 'other' healthy foods.
To try & save £300 a month!! (or as near to!)
To get another wdw trip booked.
To be sensible with my weekly spending.
 
Don't worry. Today is a new day and next week will be better. We all have a lot to be not proud of right now, but at least we recognize what we need to fix. Your goals look wonderful. :cheer2:

Merry Christmas Tracey!!! I am right there with you. These past couple weeks have been a total nightmare. I love your goals, they are very reasonable and I don't think you will have any trouble at all meeting them! We will all be able to start over at the beginning of the year, hang in there, I can see the light at the end of the unhealthy tunnel!!!

Tracey, I have caught up on journals and you know what, every one of us is faltering with our food, weight and exercise! Not one of my Wish buddies is saying, oh this is so easy, no problem. It is hard and we are all going to get right back on track in the New Year. As Amy M. says, the light at the end of the unhealthy tunnel is getting brighter! The holidays are wonderful but oh so tough! So don't feel bad and don't let it get you down. The New Year is almost here, your goals are great and very achievable and we can do it! Happy New Year!!!:thumbsup2

Well i did WI this morning & i'm afraid i gained again!!!
Before we went to wdw i was about 154lb's when i got back i was 159 lb's then last week i gained another 4lb's taking me to 163 lb's today....
165lb's :(
Another 3lb's & i will have gained a full 14 lb's since returning from wdw 7 weeks ago!!!!
So i am going to try & have a healthy day today!
All i have done is sit on my butt watching movies & eating chocolates every afternoon for the last 3 days & the last 3 mornings i went out to the sales & spent way too much money!!! Evenings... partys at neighbours & at home with too much alcohol & buffet food!
I know i'm not starting my goals till after the new year but i am feel soooooooooooo guilty right now!!!
I'm sure i'm not the only one feeling like this, but as you already will know you feel like your the only one!!!
& to totaly finish me off & depress me my DB & family arrived in wdw last night!! & my best friend is in Vegas!

I will try to list my food for yesterday!

b/fast - nothing (still too stuffed from the night before!)
lunch - scampi & fries with a bread roll
afternoon - half a biggish box of Belgian chocs, cup of earl grey
dinner - buffet - cheese & ham roll, cheese & chive dip with pringles,
2 southern fried chk pieces with sweet & sour dip, 4 cheese & onion rolls, 1 large piece of cheese cake with cream, 2 mini pizzas, 4 roast potatos, 3/4 of a bottle of wine, 1 malibu & coke '& a partrich in a pear tree' (hope you know that song!!)

Hoping to do better today!!
 
I know you are feeling down, but you've had a very stressful couple months! You went to WDW, got married, came back, had butt issues, then got sick! That is a lot for one person to go through! You will accomplish all your goals next year. All it takes is 1 good day to get started. Once that is under your belt, you'll know it's not too bad and you can have another good day, then another, etc. Hang in there, we are all here for you! :grouphug: And by the way, at least you are eating yummy foods!!! ;)

I did a bit better with food yesterday & my super DH paid me a compliment today too, i wore my new long turqouise fitted jumper with fitted black leggings & my boots & he said 'i know you said you had gained weight but i cant tell' :) bless him :)

I got all organised yestersday & today, yesterday i wrote out my 2 week induction menu (starting Tuesday) I think i will find it hard as it is so difficult to find variety as its basically 2 weeks of meat, salad & veg! But i think i'm getting there mentally i am ready to start on Tuesday, went shopping today & bought lots of meat, salad & veg so the fridge is well stocked if i get hungry (you can eat as much as you like, but only meat, veg & salad) I am trying to make sure all the goodies are gone for Tuesday, & having my last pasta, potato, rice & bread this weekend!

I also wrote out my budget to try & organise my finances - how come we all seem so well off on paper???? According to my calculations i should be able to save £300 ($600) per month easily!!! The shopping budget will be hard though (thats where all my money goes at the moment) £50 ($100) per week i can easily spend double that!!! But i'm determined, thinking of getting back to wdw is my incentive :)

food for yesterday -
b/fast - nothing
lunch - 4 crispbreads
dinner - chesse,ham & bacon pasta bake with cheesy bread, 1 & 1/2 cream cakes (thats where i let myself down - right at the end!!)
