Highlights of trip

- whole EPCOT resorts area
- riding favorite rides like Test Track, ToT, Space Mountain, etc..

Dissapointments of trip
- Grand Floridian
- Wolfgang Puck Express
- Hurricane Barry ruining most days with full rain and cold temps
- DisneyQuest being filled to capacity, not being able to get in

Grand Floridian just seemed to be less than what we expected. The room faced the monorail, towards nowhere. Our first room we recieved smelt like body odor, they asked us to stay for one night then switch us, which we said no to. Second room we got, had cigar and ashes all over balcony. Overall experience of resort was ok, but not as good as said.
Dolphin was incredible! The lobby, restraunts, pools, beach, location, and rooms! The colors, size of rooms, and our EPCOT view!! Also the proximity to the other EPCOT hotels was FABULOUS!! The cast members were beyond nice and a special thing one cast member did for us was AWESOME! Upon check-in, we tried to get a view of EPCOT or MGM, and she kept looking, but "said" she could not find any with a balcony, which we wanted. So after trying to decide to either get into a room now or wait and see if anyone checked out later that had a balcony view of EPCOT, she chose for us! We, expecting a non-balcony room facing EPCOT, were VERY SURPRISED to enter the room and see a balcony with a PERFECT view of Spaceship Earth! About two minutes later, we recieve a call from the check-in cast member asking if we liked it, and we thanked her VERY VERY MUCH! Now that was so special of her and made our trip!!

Hurricane Barry did not directly affect us, but the rains it caused did. Not the usual thunderstorms, full days of rain and COLD temperatures of 75 degrees! Because of this, we will be back in November when it SHOULD be colder, and less crowded!!!

This trip was the first time we video taped everything using our BRAND new camcorder! It is awesome actually being able to watch everything that happened, not just looking at pictures!

Other small things that Cast Member did happened at Tony's Town Square Restraunt, Yacht club waiter who was the NICEST waiter we ever had!

The one thing that really dissapointed us was our experience at the ESPN Club! We wanted to try it out so we went one night. We all order our food, my dad order a Turkey sandwhich. It comes out and is disgusting, very thing pieces that he almost choked on! My dad nicely told the waiter that he felt he couldn't and shouldn't eat the sandwhich , so the waiter takes it. When he came back, my dad asked to see a manager, not in a nasty way though. About a minute later, a women comes with the plate in hand and puts it up in my dads face and says "Well I guess you must have liked it since its half gone". My dad then told her that he took the sandwhich apart to show the waiter, and that was why there was not much left. She started getting nasty and saying VERY RUDE comments in front of the other customers!! While my dad started to talk, she walked away very rudely! So we pay the bill, and got the card for the main manager. We left a message on his voice mail, telling him the about what happened. He did eventually call back and invited us back, but we passed!
When we were entering the MGM Studios, a person with a handheld pad thing that does survey's came up and asked us if we had any bad experiences with Cast Members, so we told her the story. She said she couldn't believe that that had happened, and took down all our info, email, etc... and someone would email us further about this! She was very nice and said sorry and that the manager had no excuse!

On the second to last day we did the Disney Vacation Club tour! Only my dad, sister, and me went, since my mom was skeptical, and we enjoyed it GREATLY! Now all we have to do is show my mom how its great and worth the money!
