37 days till we are in the WORLD!!!
Hey guys -happy day after Christmas!
We are pooped and I am actually happy it is almost behind us. We celebrate "little Christmas" just by keeping up our decorations until then. I can actually say I am looking forward to getting them down b/c then we can really officailly start packing. If I could take them down today and actually thought I could get away with living off of a couple pairs of underwear(b/c 10 will be packed) for a month, I would!!
We, unfortuantely, ARE heading out to the mall for my kids to use thier Limited Too gift cards-DD10 has $90 b/t her birthday and Christmas(shee needs clothes pretty badly!!) and DD8 has $25(she really didn;t need clothing at all, but hey it is L'td Too!!)
We were going to go ride bikes so DD10 can use the BIKE she got from Saint's player, Drew Brees' Dream Foundation(!!) but it is cold and overcast and rainy-like.
The kids were REALLY blessed with gifts this Christmas:

DD10-Julie, AG doll, accessories, HSM PJs, tons of L'td Too bucks, Disney Dollars, AG Bath and Body bath products , Littlest Pet Shop and lots of other stuff, too!!
DD8-AG doll Kaya and accessories, HSM PJ's, a dress, a Disney mix stick, Littlest Pet Shop, Disney Dollars, a few Lt'd Too bucks, AG Bath and Body Works bath products, and many other little girly things!
DH and I went small on each other this year-although it all wound up costing us more than expected! Our phone was dying(buttons on phone not working properly) so we got ourselves an early Christmas Eve gift of a phone, well phones-the kind that you have a main line hooked and a little dock for another in another room(yeah we are behind the times!!), and he gave me, now..... drum roll......................
He was a bit bummed by it but I WANTED one..........................................
.............. an electric pencil sharpener!! I could never justify buying one on my grocery trips as they are $20-25 at Walmart. Just wasn't in my grocery budget! So I asked him for one and he got it for me. Now, look, I am not bummed by it, I homeschool and sharpening pencils has been a nightmare. We have been through MANY-the little hand ones that the kids get every year in thier supplies, the battery operated ones that just don't seem to do it and the old fashioned kind that your grind the wood off(like in grammar school, but plastic and suctions to the counter)-all never lasted or horrible. SOOOOOOOOOOOO, I told him since we were doing a small Christmas gift for each other this year b/c of doing DISNEY in 37 days, thast is what I wanted and needed. I am personally thrilled with it. I sharpened about 3 pencils Christmas morning and will get tot the rest today. He also gave me a CD I asked for in my stocking. I gave him necessities-underwear and undershirts, socks and slippers. He's never wanted slippers till this year. Now we need a hot water heater-it is not working properly and we NEED hot water-it puts out a little but not like it used too. I am thrilled over that one-kinda'!
It was funny b/c we were at my DB and SIL's yesterday and my sisters new boyfriend(of a few weeks) apologized b/c I was teasing about my pencil sharpener after he told me he gave my sister a silver fluer de lis necklace and perfume, etc-I was like, "DON'T apologize, mister, I am happy with it and we are going to WDW in 37 days and that is where we want to spend our money. We have had 21 Christmasses together and he has ALWAYS really given me good gifts , even if for a few small gifted Christmases-those are the ones you remember."
SO HA! Tell me ,if your still WITH my sister in/for 21 Christmases, that ALL of them were financially fabulous! Understand, this is my sisters 4th boyfriend this year. She is 27 and has a 5 year old. One of them she lived with, one was MARRIED. I don't put too much stock in her choices, but we will see.(a little glint of hope from a tired- of- her- BS- sister). The child pays, always does.

. I need the aliens(or someone/thing!!) to burn the building that the private loan company is housed in (without people there,of course)!! They are not a very nice company. Won't worek with us at all. They told me if I wanted to pay it down in less than 20 years that I should put it on credit cards!!
