Cruz, Roger pitched ok but the Sox hitters should have jumped on him with all those walks. Sometimes being wild helps you cause the hitters can't get locked in. Hoping Curt pitches well and our bats explode.

T&B. Hope you are feeling better. Luckily I don't have migraines but I def feel for you. Those are some heavy duty painkillers so be careful.

My daughter's first 3 soccer games at school have been cancelled this week due to our afternoon thunderstorms. Hope they go away cause rescheduling is such a pain.

We are heading to Austin for the Labor Day weekend. DD is playing in a soccer tourney and we will also visit with some friends.

My best friend called me this morning to let me know that he can't go to the Buffett concert with me on Sunday, this is after I get an email from him last night telling me he'd drive and asking what we are going to do for food and wondering who was going to supply the margarita's! He s*cks!

Oh and by the way, I bought the tickets 4 months ago!

And can't we say sucks on here? My migraines suck! Your friend sucks! Some baseball player sucks! Don't know which one since I was skimming that part and therefore didn't pay much attention, so I'll have to say my attention span sucks! Let's see what the word filter thinks about it.

I think I've already put the censors through the test. You can say hell, damn, and crap, but you can't say ****s (and in ) or ***** (as in ).

Okay I am going on a rant here......this is something that drives me CRAZY!!!!
The word "Sucks", when did it become something children could freely say? School sucks, you suck, that sucks......I hear it everywhere, and nobody seem to think there is a thing wrong with it! Don't get me wrong I use it and don't have a problem with other adults using it (ie- wic & tig ) but when I was a kid that was a swear. Even on tv I hear children saying it all the time. My boys wouldn't dare say (at least around adults ) or I would wash their mouths out with soap so bad they would have bubbles coming out their ears for weeks. Rant officially over!

BTW, it's never against the rules to type out a word and let the censor filter it, but if it's a filtered word and you put a star into it so people know what it is you could get your hand slapped for that (happened to me a long time ago when I really was a good girl here and I was shocked that I'd broken a rule ).

Cruz, I agree and there are plenty of things that I don't allow my kids say, especially when they are young. I'm also a bit stricter with my teenagers since I also have a 7yo. I don't want him thinking it's an ok way to talk.

Isn't washing a child's mouth out with soap now considered child abuse? Good thing it wasn't when my sister and I were little.....they would have taken my sister away! She knew how to push my parents buttons big time!

I cringe at alot of the things I hear kids my daughters age and older saying now a days! I honestly believe that if parents were allowed to be parents, kids wouldn't be the punks they are today!
