Linus, that does not sound like fun at all. Glad you weren't hurt more seriously and you really need to find a better way to get sympathy.

Just hanging here, not doing too much. In a little over a week we head down to Myrtle Beach for a baseball tournament for my 13yo. Then we're stopping by Williamsburg for a few days so we can go to Busch Gardens and Water Country. Will be me with my 3 boys (and paigevz and one of her sons when we're at Myrtle Beach).

I had to cancel my Disney trip this week, DH found out Monday morning that they moved his annual training for his job to September from October, he has training now the week that we were going to Disney....and they cancelled everyone elses September vacations, so he couldn't switch out with someone else! I'm soooo bummed out!

I feel so bad for you guys. I was depressed because we skipped free dining this year, I don't know what I would have done had I booked and couldn't go.
Look on the bright side, you will enjoy the 2008 trip that much more. That is the load of crap my DH keeps telling me, if only I believed it!!

I was going to say something else, but it was so politically incorrect I think they would have thrown off the DIS. Trust me it was hysterical!!!!!

Yeah it was heartbreaking, when I had to contact my TA and tell her to cancel everything! Luckily my husband called me when he did....I was going to pay off the full balance Monday and he knew that! I was able to get my deposit back though!

Oh yeah....2008 trip will be even better than what I just had to give up....as long as I can get all the same ADR's that I had set up for this trip! My poor husband knows how upset I am over this, I honestly think he's afraid to even mention the word Disney around me right now, out of fear! The only bright side about this whole fiasco is that Kellie never knew about the trip, so she's not heartbroken right now!

I've been planning this one since April.....I thought I had it planned out perfectly, never even occurred to me that my husbands "A.R.T" training would be moved in a month!

Oh well.....come on 2008!

Thats the spirit!! My wife is not a fan of WDW at all so I don't know when we will be going back.

Our spring break in 08 is the week before Easter and that really chapped me. That week will be high prices everywhere. Doubt we go anywhere except maybe within Texas.

We're scrambling right now, trying to find hotels up in Maine for mid-August right now...so we can take our daughter somewhere on a vacation this summer, we didn't have anything planned because of Disney in September!

I had to laugh last night, my husband and I were watching TV after our DD went to bed, and a Disney commercial came on....I sort of glanced at him, and he was like "stop staring at me...I know...I'm scum right now"! It was funny!

Afternoon all!!

wic sorry about the vacation!! that is just not right stupid work and changing schedules, don't they know people have more important things to do, like go to Disney??!!??

trek - have a great weekend trip! sounds great for an adult getaway!!

tig - nice drive by!! Have a great mini vacation (you are one busy woman lately)

As for us we have 2 Phillies games this weekend and just so you can all rest easy, I have been forbidden to wear my flip flops to the stadium!!! (good thing considering our season seats are in the first row of the second level and there are alot of steps to go down!!)

Other than that it will be cleaning and laundry as usual
