TPA airport and US Airways ??

I have been carefully monitoring airfare for our upcoming Thanksgiving trip to WDW. Today I came across a one way fare from TPA to OAK on US Airways for $219 each for Saturday, Nov 27th! This is by far the cheapest flight I've seen for that Saturday!! They have almost the exact flight leaving MCO for $100 more (in fact the two flights both connect in PHX onto the same flight). The next closest flight on any airline is about $50 more each and that flight leaves MCO at 5:30 in the morning!!

So - how much will it cost to get the four of us to Tampa Airport? The $219 flight doesn't leave Tampa until 8:25pm so it also gives us an extra day in the parks!!

And input on the best way to get to TPA? Any reviews on US Airways?
Or should I wait it out a little longer hoping for a good rate on a flight from MCO??

We have flown into TPA instead of MCO. We always rent a car so I could not answer your question about the cost of getting to TPA.

One suggestion, rent a car at MCO or WDW and return it to TPA. If you are not planning to rent for the whole trip, get a one day rental at WDW with a return to TPA. This option would probably be the cheapest way to get to TPA. Plan on 1.5 hours to 2 hours to get to TPA from WDW. It is a straight shot on I 4 to tampa.

I think we'll rent a car at MCO when arriving and then return it to TPA. I've just started shopping around for a car rental but I've already found a rate of $180.00 for an intermediate car for Nov 18-27th through Costco. Not too bad for a holiday week.

It will still put us ahead AND we'll have a car to use - which will be convenient staying at OKW.
