If I have two studios booked for five nights at Beach Club Villas, and my priority is a room without elevator (or road/hospitality) noise, but I’d also like the rooms to be reasonably close together, any tips on structuring that TP room request?

Have you stayed at BCV before? To be honest, we have similar requests as you. But at BCV, where we've stayed many times, it's designed that the elevators are a non-factor for us - they're away from the rooms for the most part. You're also away from the main building. And even with rooms facing EPCOT and the road, we've not had issues with road noise. I'd recommend you focus on asking for 2 rooms close together, and then hope they can do that for you.

BCV is the hardest request to have granted because its a small amount of rooms. I will let someone chime in on what to write though on TP

Thx for the response. We own at BCV and have had issues with elevator shaft noise in rooms close to elevators, including rooms close to the hospitality elevator. Particularly bad are x16, x25, x28, x40 and x66.

This past May I had 3 studios and just asked MS to note that we were travelling together. All were on the same floor, two were directly acrossed from each other and the other one was three doors down. None near the elevators but I understand about needing to be away from the noise.

Agreed. We once stayed in a studio ending in -66 at BCV and the elevator noise was pretty intense. It was only for one night, but it was annoying and we ended up moving to another room.

Agreed - I was assigned to room 325 once (a studio). I tried to sit in the room and check my email. After 5 minutes, I couldn't stand it. The elevator makes some weird whirring noise which you can hear in the room. It's extremely annoying. I went down to the front desk and begged to be moved.

It is a handicapped accessible room which is next to the elevator.

I also agree with PP about the weird voices announcing the elevator floor. Also, the elevator dings twice when it arrives at the floor. But those would not have been deal-breakers for me. The whirring noise in the quiet room, on the other hand, drove me crazy.
