Toystoryduo's Journal....Moving Forward From Here

Thanks for checking in on me, ladies. I really appreciate it!:grouphug:

I haven't made my final decision on Disney yet. I feel much better, but I'm going to wait until Friday before I decide for sure. We're planning as if we are going, but if I am not feeling well, then we'll probably cancel. My DH and kids are okay with that. My doctor has okayed the trip, but I just want to make sure I'm up to it. I've been doing a whole lot of relaxing so that should help a lot. I really, really appreciate your good thoughts and prayers! Please keep them coming!:goodvibes

Today's Plan:
* homeschooling
* surveys
* walk?
* work for DH

I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!:grouphug:

Tracy, while I would be very disappointed if you canceled (:confused3 I love to know other people are in my happy place) I am glad you are putting your health first. Very smart on your part. WDW will always be there and you know the way. I just pray you get better.

Did you get your walk in? How did you feel after that?

Tracy, I am with Lisa. I so hope you get to go and I will be heartbroken for you if you don't, but you are wise to be thinking of the bigger picture here. I am just praying it all works out!:goodvibes

Good job taking it easy, keep that up!!!!

Keep us posted hope your day was a good one. :hug:

Tracy! Hope you're feeling better every day! Just want to throw this out to the universe...I can't imagine a better place to rest and relax than at WDW. Not every trip has to be a "see every park, ride every ride.." trip. You can sit by the pool with a good cold drink, go out to dinner and lunches...never have to cook, do dishes or laundry or wonder how to keep the kids occupied & happy... I know I could rest far more easily at WDW than I can at home...there's always so much to do there.

But I know too you're worried that if something happens, you'll be far from your regular doctor & comfort zone. It certainly is a conundrum!

:hug:I know you'll do whats right for you& your family, but here's a big hug to show I'm sorry that this has put a crimp in your plans.

I was thinking along these same lines Tracy. I know its scary to be away from home when you have a health issue, but one thing about it, lazing around the pool a lot and not having to worry about cooking, cleaning and homeschooling might be good medicine!

I hope today is a good one for you Wish sis, just keeping you in my prayers and keeping my fingers crossed!:hug:

Hope your feeling much better Tracy & the trip goes ahead :hug:

Thanks everyone!:grouphug:

I am feeling better, but I am pretty tired today. I got up way too early and have been running almost non stop since I got up this morning. I still have a to do list that is a mile long, but guess what I'm gonna do? DELEGATE!:thumbsup2

Tomorrow is decision day. I'm still thinking and praying.....

We went for a walk last night. It went well, but we didn't walk as far as usual because I didn't want to overdo it. Plus, it's getting cold out there at night!:eek:

I hope everyone has a nice evening!:goodvibes Thanks again for your prayers and encouragement!:grouphug:

Tracy, I am praying for you, just know that whatever you decide will be the right thing.:goodvibes:hug:

Our evenings are start to feel a bit cool too, I am enjoying it (sorry Lisa ;)) Its been a long, hot summer! Good job on the walking.

I'll be tuning into tomorrow to see what the plan is.:)

Praying for you as you have to make a tough decision.

Glad you are feeling somewhat better. We are cooling at night, too! It's been in the 50s when I head out to walk in the mornings! Heavenly!

Hi Tracy, Thank you so much for stopping by scott's journal! :hug:

I'm just so sorry to read of all the struggles your having and so close to your trip. You poor thing...that really stinks. :( I'm sure the right decision will come to you.

I'm catching up on reading everyone's journals now since I've been away for so long. Will continue to check in here to see how you are doing.

I'm glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. Best of luck with your decision today. I hope you are feeling well enough to travel.

Thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement, ladies.:goodvibes I appreciate you all so much! :grouphug:

I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday. We had some errands to run after DH got home from work and after we came home, I fell asleep on the recliner and then went straight to bed.

We have decided to go ahead and go to Disney World. It has been a hard decision for me though. I know there is a chance that the stone could act up while we are in Florida, but the idea of relaxing, not cooking and not cleaning, and some Florida sunshine sounds like such a blessing right now. Truthfully, I have been very nervous about my upcoming surgery to remove the kidney stone ( no date set yet) and I am hoping that this time away will help me relax and get my mind off of it. I am praying that we made the right decision.

The plan is to leave sometime this afternoon. I have some things we need to get done first and my DD9 has a soccer game at noon. The earlier we leave, the better so that we can take our time and stop as often as needed. My DH's cousin is unable to meet us on Sunday, so once we are in Orlando, our schedule is our own.

We'll be doing lots of relaxing by the pool. Right now, we still have Sea World scheduled for Tuesday and Epcot scheduled for Friday, but we'll have to wait and see how I feel. I have been feeling really good the past few days and I hope that trend continues while we are in Florida and beyond.

Thank you so much for your love, encouragement, and prayers. :grouphug: I will miss you guys and I'll be praying for you while I'm gone. Have a wonderful week ahead and I'll see ya real soon!::MickeyMo

Have a wonderful trip! I know some rest and relaxation will do you good. Say hi to Mickey for us!!

Oh I am so glad you are going!!! I have been thinking about you today (we had company and I couldn't get on here for a few hours lol and the suspense was killing me).

I think you made the right decsion, I am betting some time to relax and recharge with your hubby and the kids in the Happiest Place on Earth will be just what you need. I'll be praying for a safe journey, no stone troubles and that you have a wonderful time.

See you when you get back, I'll miss you!:hug::wave2::beach::drive:

Can't wait to hear about it all when you get back. Sorry DH's cousin couldn't meet up with you all, but not have any scheduled meets is probably the best thing right now. I'll be praying that you are fine the entire week. Have a wonderfully magical time with your family and we'll see you when you get back. :goodvibes
