Toystoryduo's Journal....Moving Forward From Here

Thanks Amy!:hug: I'm glad that you like the book. :goodvibes I found another book she wrote at the library that is just as good. It's called Walk Away the Pounds and she talks about how to lose weight,how to stay motivated, why walking is the perfect exercise for weight loss, and she also talks about herself and her family life. It's a great read!:goodvibes

Well, WISH friends....School is DONE for the year!!!:banana: I am so excited!!! Now I can start working on the house and get back OP with weight loss. I will be making some lists and taking some notes this weekend and on Monday, off we go!:banana:

My allergies are going bonkers today. :( I just took some medicine a little while ago. If I take 1 Benadryl, I'm okay, but if I take 2, I get really tired and feel like I am walking in a fog. I can't wait til allergy season is over!:banana:

Weekend Plans:

Saturday- DH has to work in the morning. Not sure what we will do tomorrow. Maybe start working on the house? Garage sales? No specific plans as of yet other than to take my MIL to work.

Sunday- Church, help my aunt and uncle move to their new home, DH works, take MIL to work

My brother and SIL are coming home for a week next week. I can't wait!:banana:

Hope everyone has a nice weekend!:grouphug:

Tracy: School's out for summer!!!!!:cool1: You have really earned this break!

I need to read that book too. What I like about Leslie is she comes off as a real person and she isn't afraid to write about her faith which this day in age is refreshing. I am a big believer in walking, about 12 years ago my 5'2" mom at age 65 lost 60 pounds in a year with walking. I know we can do it too!

That is great your brother will be coming soon, its always so nice to spend time with family.

Enjoy your weekend, I am taking my book camping since I have a feeling I'll be sitting in my tent freezing my buns off!

That's great that you will most likely be doing Sea World! :cool1:

Yay for school being over. My kids' last day is the 27th.

Allergies are the pits. :confused3 Benadryl is great, but I'm with you - it makes me sooo tired!

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

I am so glad that school is over, but we haven't had much of a chance to enjoy the free time yet. :faint: On Saturday, I mowed the backyard for my dad and then spent 8 hours cleaning and de-cluttering our house. (That's without the garage and DH's office!:scared1: ) We had 4 bags of garbage, 2 bags of clothes for my cousin, and 3 bags of clothes, toys, and books for charity. It feels good to de-junk, but we still have a ways to go.

On Sunday, we helped my aunt and uncle move and yesterday, we did laundry, more cleaning, surveys, work for DH, and shopping.

Today, I've been working on surveys and working for my DH. Later on, I'll get some stuff put up on eBay as well.

Workouts have been good. I've been doing WATP DVDs almost everyday. The girls have been doing them too. They like how easy it is to get a good workout in. :thumbsup2

Food has been sporadic at best. I'll work on that next week.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day today!:grouphug:

Tracy, I think you just have to get into your summer routine and then you'll probably have more time to enjoy it!

Good job with those WATP videos, I love those workouts and I should do those with my dd.

You'll get that food all back on track soon, like I say, you have entered a new routine and it takes a bit to settle into that.

Good job de cluttering, that always feels so good!:thumbsup2

im jealous school is out for you already!!
i have 1 week to do then a week off then another 7 weeks before out 6 week summer term off!!
hope all is well :)

Hi, Tracy!! How are you, WISH friend? I know I haven't been around here but I have not forgotten all the amazing WISHers I've met here. I've been catching up on your journal and I am so happy to see that school is out for summer! That is awesome, even though I know that you view every day as an opportunity for your girls to learn something new. AND, I knew that, just as sure as the sun rises and sets, you'd be the same Tracy we've always known and loved -- superwife, supermom, super planner and super saver!! You really do inspire me! Looking forward to keeping up here and hearing about your trip planning, too! :hug:

Welcome Back, Cam!:cool1: Thank you so much for your words of love and encouragement. My heart needed those this morning!:goodvibes

Good morning friends!:grouphug:

The past few days have been kind of tough for me. I'm having a hard time decompressing after the school year is over. :( My stress levels are on the high end right now. :( I am trying to relax and get into a more restful routine, but it is hard.

My girls spent the night at my grandma's house last night. After we dropped them off, my DH took me out to lunch and then we went to the beach to just relax and talk. It was a relaxing day, but this morning, I find myself getting stressed out again. :(

Today's Plan:
* Surveys
* Workout
* Work for DH
* Going out to eat with family (DBro and SIL are in town!)

I weighed in and lost 1.8 pounds from last week. That's good, but I keep losing the same 10 pounds over and over again. I really need to make more significant progress on this journey.

That's about all from here. Hope everyone has a nice weekend!:grouphug:

I should be in bed right now! ;) My DH was called into work around 11:00 p.m. this evening. They had some kind of problem that they needed him to work on. He should only be gone for about 2 hours so I'm trying to wait up for him. Might not make it though! :faint:

Today was a very busy day after a very busy weekend. I think that's going to be the trend for the next few days. Maybe we'll be able to relax on Sunday and Monday.

My DBro and SIL go home tomorrow. :( We had such a nice visit with them!:goodvibes I wish we could see them more often.

I cashed out at SR today for:

(2) $50 Darden gift cards (Red Lobster, Olive Garden)
(1) $25 Disney Gift Card
(1) $10 Landry's Gift Card (T-Rex)

When I cashed out, my balance was at $0.10. :scared1: I was able to get all 6 surveys today so my account is over $3.xx now. :thumbsup2

Got a Zumba workout in and a 30 minute walk with the family. :goodvibes

That's about all from here. Have a nice evening and a great Tuesday!:wizard:

Happy Tuesday! :cool1:

The sun is out, the weather is warm, and I got 8 hours of sleep last night! :banana:

Today's Plan:
* Surveys (2/5 so far)
* Workout (Zumba or WATP)
* Disney Meeting
* NCIS/ NCIS Los Angeles Season Finales
* Work for DH

Well, that's about all from here. Have a wonderful day! :wizard:

Tracy, I am so glad you have enjoyed your brother's visit. Family time is always so special!:goodvibes

That is great you cashed in your SR. I have no idea why I have not gotten on that yet. Lack of motivation seems to be my current theme in life.:rolleyes1

That day with your dh sounds very nice!

I hope your stress was better today.:hug:

Glad you are having a good week! Sleep & good weather help, don't they!

I still haven't taken time to get the hang of SR & I really need to. You are so good at it!

Hope the rest of the week goes well.

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

Yesterday was quite a long day for us. My DH worked, came home, did paperwork, realized he needed to go back out on the jobsite, went back to the jobsite, came home and did more paperwork- all for 1 project! :faint: It's done now and we should receive payment for it within the next two weeks.

Today's Plan:
* Surveys (4/6)
* Workout (DONE!)
* Pick up MIL
* Work for DH
* Post Office (eBay stuff sold!:banana:)
* Pay bills

We never did have our Disney Meeting yet. DH has been super busy and I haven't had time to sit down and organize everything. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe Friday.

Hope everyone has a great day!:grouphug:

Tracy, sounds like a very busy day! I hope you had some time to take a deep breath in there somewhere.:rotfl:

Maybe this long weekend will give you some time to have that Disney meeting!

Hope today is a good one for you.:)

Thanks Amy. :hug:

Today has been an okay day. I had a meltdown this morning, but felt much better by this afternoon. (Stress of the past few months had really gotten to me. :( ) I managed to get 5/6 surveys at SR, got my Disney notes ready for tomorrow's meeting, and made the menu for the week and grocery list as well.

Tomorrow we'll got to church and probably head to the beach for a couple of hours. After that, my DH will go to a birthday party for an hour or so and then take his mom to work. We'll have a cookout here and then maybe take a walk to the park.

Weigh-in yesterday showed a 1.2 pound loss. I'm happy with that, but frustrated at the same time because I keep losing the same 10 pounds. :(

I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Memorial Day weekend!:grouphug:

Tracy, sometimes we all need a good meltdown to get it out of our system! I hear you on the "same ten pounds" thing. Its frustrating but better to be losing the same ten pouns than gaining the same ten pounds! Pretty quick here we'll both be losing weight we haven't lost recently. We just need to get over that hump. Lets do it together!:hug::goodvibes

I hope the beach was nice and that you had a good cookout. Love these long weekends!

Great job making out your grocery list and menus, that is setting you up for a successul week!:thumbsup2

How was the beach??

Don't fret about the occasional meltdown - it happens to the best of us! :hug:

Yay on the loss!!! I know you will eventually start losing some "new" pounds! :goodvibes

Hi, Tracy! How are you, sweetie? Did you get to the beach? I hope DH had some time off this weekend and you were able to relax a bit together. :hug: :flower:

Hey Wish Sis, hope today was a good one for you. Can I go to the beach with you sometime? Think of the fun we could have! Someday my friend....
