Good morning friends,

It's been a good morning so far. Weigh-in showed a 2.6 pound loss, I got all 3 surveys at SR, and my DH will be taking us to lunch a little later on. :goodvibes

The weekend ahead will be long though. DH has classes he needs to take for work, I have to take him to and from, I have to pick up my MIL from work today and Sunday, I have work to do for my DH, I need to start gathering tax paperwork and organizing it, and I need to do some lesson planning for school. Then, it's right back to the grind on Monday and a very busy week ahead. Thank God we have a 4 day weekend next week!:thumbsup2

While my DH's at school (that sounds so funny to me!:laughing:), I will get caught up on some reading. I may work on deals for Sunday as well.

Tracy, that is so great you lost 2.6!!!!! That is a serious weight loss and shows how hard you have been working. I am so proud of you!

As for the Clutter book, I think its great you are doing that. I got out a Dr. Phil book on weight loss that is along those same lines and plan to reread it. I read it pretty fast a few years ago but was going through so much with my mom, I didn't want to get into the down and dirty with my own self and issues! I'm always amazed at how your journey is so similar to mine on so many levels. But we are doing it this time and I know this is IT!!

My BIL was able to pick up my MIL so I didn't have to drive anywhere today. :goodvibes I'm glad that I didn't have to go out tonight because I'm not a good snow driver and there is quite a bit of snow on the roads. I get way too nervous. :scared: Right now, I'm waiting for my DH to get home.

I did Lesli Sansone's 3 Mile Weight Loss Walk tonight. I used hand weights during the workout and my muscles feel it already!:thumbsup2 I was going to do Shred tomorrow, but I think I will postpone it until Sunday.

Went over my WW points, but I did earn some Activity Points today and I still have all but one of my Flex points left. I should be able to watch points more carefully tomorrow since we won't be going out to eat like we did today.

I'm glad you didn't have to drive in the snow. That would make me nervous too! Not just for me, but watching out for all of the other idiots on the road. :eek:

Great job getting that workout in. I am currently online, avoiding mine... :rolleyes1
 
I love WATP. I need to find that weight loss one. She just motivates me and the fact she uses normal looking people on her videos is nice too. Good job with the points. They always say at WW that people who track their food and points are about 10 times more successful. You are doing great!

Stay warm with the snow, we are supposed to get about six inches tomorrow and I am not looking forward to that!
 
Congrats on the weight loss Tracy! Also, good for you to be working thru some issues with the "Clutter" book. Time spent on yourself is never wasted.

One of these days I'm going to look in to those rewards programs. I have a bunch of time on my hands right now, so I should just do it! Do you recommend any in particular?

I hope you are doing okay with the bad weather. Have yourself a nice weekend and do some relaxing!

I am so sore and exhausted! :( After a good workout yesterday, I shoveled two driveways today. The snow is heavy and it took almost 3 hours to get both driveways done. I am so cold and so worn out right now. I am definitely counting the shoveling as two workouts. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

After my DH gets home from school, he'll drop me off at Starbucks to have coffee with a friend. He'll take his mom to work and then he'll come pick me up and then we'll probably have Wendys for dinner. I'm so glad that I don't have to cook tonight!:thumbsup2

OMG, that sounds exhausting! All that shoveling is definitely at least two workouts!

Have fun at Starbucks. Sounds like you deserve some fun time and a break from cooking. What do you usually eat at Wendy's? I like their baked potatoes and chili, and I think I remember reading the chili isn't bad on calories unless you get the cheese topping.
 
I bet your upper body is in awesome shape with all of that shoveling this year! I hope you get a break from that soon. :wizard:

Very sore from yesterday's shoveling. Not gonna do Shred today. ;)

I'm trying to work on some deals for Rite Aid and CVS this morning. My DH has class until 5:30 p.m. and then has to take his mom to work so I have awhile to get everything together.

Today's Plan:
* Work on deals
* Rewards Programs
* Make chili
* Cut and sort coupons
* Plan meals for the week ahead

This hasn't been much of a weekend for us...Busy, busy, busy. The good news is that next weekend is a 4 day weekend and we should be able to find some downtime in that. :thumbsup2
 
I don't blame you for skipping the shred...nature has been giving you more than enough exercise!
 
Yeah Tracy, I think the two driveway's worth of heavy snow shredded you enough! I hope your weather improves soon.

Wendy's is such a great place for healthy choices. A baked potato and chili has I think 8 points. I love those nights off from cooking too!

4 day weekend coming up, that will be nice, you've certainly earned it!
 
Tracy, I hope you were able to stay warm this weekend. :goodvibes Are you all snowed in? I saw most government offices in DC are closed today. But I think y'all are a little more equiped to handle the snow than they are.

How did your shopping at CVS and RiteAid go? I did rather well at CVS, they were just out of several things I wanted. I may now go look at the Riteaid ad again, as they had deals on several things I wanted, but didnt get at CVS.

Gonna do Shred today?

Yesterday was a no buy day here. Can you believe it?:eek: I didn't do any of my usual Sunday shopping and ended up staying home all day.

Didn't get much sleep last night. :( Hoping for a nap today....

School is almost over for the day. Since I am so tired, I don't think I will risk a workout. I don't want to hurt myself. I'll try and get one in tomorrow. (Of course we're expecting another snowstorm tomorrow so my exercise might come in the form of shoveling. :( )

Today's Plan:
* Homeschooling (almost done)
* Errands (library, Aldi's)
* Make dinner, relax

I don't blame you for skipping Shred after shoveling. I can hardly pour myself a glass of water after that workout, I can't imagine doing it after shoveling 2 driveways! :headache:

Glad you didn't have to drive in the snow. We ended up with only 6 inches of snow, and now they're callling for another FOOT Wed...booo..I don't like snow.

All that shoveling is tons of exercise in itself - save your arms! Save your arms and shoulders - more is on the way!
 
Uh oh, I think that I am sending you that snowstorm! We've had snow and bitter cold for two solid days now. Will spring ever come?

I hope you got your nap. Did you know taking a nap helps you burn more calories? Read that in Prevention.
