Toystoryduo's Journal....Moving Forward From Here

Tracy
Sounds like you are feeling a bit better now. That's good. :goodvibes Congrats on the new puppy.

Hope you are warming up a bit and to answer your question from a few days ago, we are warmer than you a no snow. Now...if you had been in Florida with me on Saturday......:cold: sleet, snow, rain, ice, cold....you get the picture. One of those times when you keep saying to yourself....I'm at Disney, I'm at Disney....:rotfl2:

Congrats on the no buy days and getting the workouts in. You are doing fabulous!:cheer2:

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

This has been a good week, but a long one so far. My DH has been working 12-16 hours days, not including travel. He'll keep up this schedule until tomorrow. Then this weekend, he'll be working on my MIL's car.

We've been homeschooling and trying to train Abby. This puppy has a lot of energy!

Today's Plan:

* Homeschooling
* Library
* Pet Store
* Grocery Store
* Work for DH

Yesterday's Food:
B: small orange (0)
L: Caesar Salad (4) Soup (4)
S: granola bar (2)
D: Shrimp pasta (20 YIKES!:scared1:) + 3 bread sticks (6)
Activity Points: 2
Flex Points Used: 4
Flex Points Left: 27

Weigh-in is tomorrow....We'll see what happens.

Yesterday was not a no buy day. A local store had some Rubbermaid Easy Find Lid sets on sale and I bought one for us and one for my MIL. $11 out of pocket.

Today won't be a no buy day either. Grocery store, pet supplies, and maybe pizza for dinner.

That's about all from here... Have a great day!:grouphug:

Abby sounds like she will be a lot of fun...and work! If you need much in pet supplies, check petedge.com. If you order under $60 they charge a $6 fee, but still usually quite a bit cheaper than the pet stores.

Prayers for all of you with DH working such long hours. Not easy on anyone!

Have a great rest of the week!

I'm sorry to hear DH is working so much! But at least the end is near. :thumbsup2

Have fun with puppy training! Maybe I can send you my pesky beagle and you can train him too?? :goodvibes

I think the Shred workout is a good one to keep in your rotation. Let me know what other DVDs you like, since it looks like I will not be renewing my membership at the gym this year!

Abby is an adorable name for a puppy! I need to get over to facebook and get hooked up with you so I can see her.

You are doing great on Weight Watchers, isn't amazing how when you keep track of those points you really think about what you eat before you eat it? Keep up the good work.

And hey, we get the same amount of points!

Hope your dh isn't too worn out from all that work!

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

Thank God it's Friday!!!:banana: It has been such a hectic week here. I'm looking forward to a somewhat relaxing weekend.:goodvibes

L: Spaghetti (10) Crescent Roll (2)
S: 1 cup of Cheerios (2)

Hey Tracy! Congrats on the new pup! :goodvibes I'd really like one, but I know we're not home enough, and that's not fair to the dog.

Good job paying some on that trip, I love that feeling!

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

Yesterday was a stressful day. My DH had some issues at work that I had to help him with from home. After we picked up my MIL from work, she took us to Outback for dinner. It was a nice way to unwind after a stressful day.

Speaking of Outback, I did pretty well there yesterday. Normally, I eat tons of bread, 1/2 plate of cheese fries, and a whole plate of Toowoomba Pasta. Instead, I had 1 handful of fries ( no cheese, bacon, or ranch), 1 small piece of bread (no butter), 2 small pieces of beef tenderloin, 1 small serving of mashed potatoes, and 3 stuffed shrimp. (shared the rest) I have no idea what the points are and that's okay. I made much better choices there yesterday than I have in a long time so I will celebrate that. :cool1:

Added to my goals yesterday:
1. No buy day!:banana:
2. Worked out (45 minutes)
3. Added about $2 at SR

No real plans for today...DH has to work. Once he gets home, we will probably head out for awhile. Maybe go to the mall and walk around or something.

Hope everyone has a great day!:hug:

Wow, you did great at Outback! That bread especially loves to tempt me in. It sounds like you made some very good choices.

good job changing it up at Outback - and hope you reached your goal of exercising and your no buy day

That is wonderful that you were able to control yourself at Outback! Their bread is soooo good, I am amazed you were able to stick to one piece! :worship: I think there is some WW site that lists all the points for restaurant food. And if you look online at the Outback site, they actually let you pick your meal and it tells you the nutritional information. It's pretty neat, you should check it out if you go there again.

Have a nice, relaxing Sunday! :goodvibes

congrats on the weight loss Tracy :) & on making those great food choices at outback - i've eaten their , so i know how tempting this place is!!

Hope you've relaxed this weekend :)

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

We had a good weekend, but it was way too short. Lots of puppy training and a little bit of shopping. We spent $25 out of pocket, got a ton of stuff, received $20 in Extra Care Bucks, and should get a $15 rebate, and a $35 gift card. :banana:

Today's Plan:

* Clean the house
* laundry
* coffee with a friend
* head to the mall with my family

Tomorrow it's back to school. When is Spring break again? ;)

Have a great day!:wizard:

Tracy
:cool1::banana::woohoo::yay: for the loss. You go girl!!!!:cheer2: You had a really great week last week. I hope this week goes just as well. Where are you getting the GC from? A rebate or one of your earning sites?
How is the new puppy? How are you training Abby with all the snow? Looks like you all are/were getting a bunch of the white stuff. Be careful shoveling the drive.

Great job on the shopping deals and doing so well at Outback! Go to www.dwlz.com and you can find all the points values for your favorite restaurants. Its a site operated by a Weight Watcher named Dottie and I love using it. And be sure and add up the difference between your recent OUtback meal and what you used to eat! Keep it up, you are doing so great!:goodvibes

Tracy
I just noticed your ticker. It is only the middle of the month and you are already well over half way on two of your montly goals.:woohoo:
