Toystoryduo's Journal....Moving Forward From Here

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

Today has been a mixed bag kind of a day. It's been good in that my DH is done with his project and that we got really good haircuts today. It's been a less than good day because our goldfish died this morning. :( He was almost 3 years old and hadn't been doing well for the past couple of weeks. It really hit my DD7 hard.:sad1: She's been crying off and on all day today.

We have got a super busy weekend ahead of us....Here's our schedule:

Friday: DH works, Homeschooling, DD7's Soccer game

Saturday: DD8's soccer game, MIL's birthday party

Sunday: church, Aunt's 50th birthday party (CVSing too! They have stuff on sale that we need for Florida! )

Next week looks to be busy too, but we've got to get through the weekend before we even start to think about next week. :faint:

Hope everyone has a great evening!:grouphug:

I'm sorry about your goldfish Tracy. It is hard to lose a pet, especially one you have had for so long.

Remember to stop occasionally and take a deep breath this weekend. You certainly have a busy one scheduled. :wizard: hope all goes well. YAY for CVS sales and YAY for getting closer to Disney. After this weekend you will only have three weeks to go. I'm excited for you.

Happy Birthday to MIL and Happy Birthday to Auntie. and don't you stress about Bday cake (insert shaking finger smilie here) you'll work it off next week doing this:banana: and this:yay: and this:woohoo: cause your going to Disney!

Have a great weekend Tracy.:flower3:

Thanks Lisa.

We're getting ready to head out to DD7's soccer game this evening. After that, we'll do a late dinner and maybe get a walk in. It's been a long day here, but a good day.

Have a great weekend everyone!:grouphug:

Hi Tracy heres some :wizard::wizard::wizard: you asked for - you KNOW they work ;)
workouts are looking great :)
you sound very busy but very positive :)
so sorry about the goldfish - ours died on my birthday :(
Have a great rest of the week

Tracy, I am so sorry about the goldfish. Poor DD:hug:. Hope the birthday parties were fun and that today is a good one for you!

Two weeks to WDW!

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

We had a good weekend, but my DH and I both feel like we needed a weekend from our weekend. That usually happens when we are both going full tilt throughout the week. For him, it was work and soccer last week, and for me, it was homeschooling, house de-cluttering, and trip planning.

I'm trying to stick to more of a schedule this week to help alleviate some of the what next stress. Here's what it looks like:

7:30 - 9:30 a.m. : Work for DH, check e-mails, DIS, eat breakfast

9:30 a.m.- noon: School

noon- 1:00 p.m.: Lunch and break

1:00-2:00 p.m.: De-cluttering and cleaning

That's all I have so far. I'll work on the afternoon schedule next week. We just got the soccer schedule for the rest of the season yesterday so I'll incorporate that into our plans as well.

Speaking of soccer, my DD8 has a game at 3:00 p.m. on the day we leave for Florida. We were planning on picking up the car rental then and leaving around 5:00 p.m. Plus, my niece's high school graduation party is that day so now we have to adjust for that as well. We're supposed to meet my DH's cousin and family in Orlando around noon on Sunday. I'm not sure how that's going to work out with these schedule changes. My DH and I will have to figure something out.

I think that during my free time this afternoon, I'll do some more planning and to do list writing for Florida. We're just a little over 2 weeks away!:woohoo::yay:

Have a wonderful day everyone!:grouphug:

Hi Tracy
Glad you made it through the weekend. I like the daily schedule you have worked out. How did the soccer games go? Did the girls have fun?

19 days to go. Y'all are going to have such a good time. I don't envy you on having to figure out your time frame for getting there. Maybe you can just make an appearance at the graduation party.

Hi Lisa! Both girls won their soccer games over the weekend and DD8 scored a goal!:cheer2:

Taking a deep breath.....My DH is having a couple of work issues right now and kind of expects me to fix them.

Issue 1: Following up with contractors who are late on payments. I've sent e-mails out and haven't heard anything. (I don't have their phone numbers or I would call them. DH has the numbers.)

Issue 2: He is supposed to do a job tomorrow that he hasn't gotten the specs for yet, nor had the conference call about the job yet.... I've been trying to contact people all afternoon about this and no one is returning e-mails or phone calls.

Issue 3: He is currently on a job site and seeking my help for tech support when I know nothing about the job. Hmmm.... :scratchin Not sure how I can help there. :confused3

We all need a vacation!!!!!!:scared1: Good thing we have one planned within the next 3 weeks. ;) :lmao:

I know all of these things will work themselves out, but it's still a bit stressful. :(

DD7 has soccer practice in an hour and a half. I'll walk the track with DD8 while she practices. I'd like to get at least 2 miles in before calling it a day. We'll probably do our family walk after practice as well.

Sorry for the vent. Thanks for listening!:grouphug:

Okay, so we got the info from the tech for tomorrow's job. I have to go through a 20+ page document and brief my DH on it before his conference call this evening. Tomorrow is going to be a crazy busy day for him!

I also heard from one of the contractors and we're all squared away. That's good news!:thumbsup2

As for the technical issues, my DH will have to return to the site on Thursday to fix the problem. The good news is that he knows someone who thinks they can troubleshoot the problem and walk him through it.

See.... I post the issues on the DIS and poof! Some of them get fixed!:lmao: Must be all of that :wizard::wizard::wizard: floating around here. ;)

Off to read the specs!:goodvibes

Here is some more :wizard::wizard::wizard::wizard:, just in case.

Glad a couple issues worked out this evening and hopefully you all got some quality family time in. Were you able to walk?

oh, yes,.......YAY!:cheer2: for the goal. Tell them to keep up the good work.

Thanks Lisa. I was able to get a very brief walk in yesterday, but not at soccer practice. My DH needed me to drop my DD7 off at practice and then come back home to plug his cell phone in for the conference call. When I came home, the computer was having issues so by the time I got back to practice, it was already over. I did get a 10 minute walk in home from my MIL's yesterday, but that's it.

Today has been an okay day. Got the normal stuff done, and spent some time working on the WDW to do list. Just feel kind of blah today. I didn't really sleep well last night and TOM is coming soon so maybe that's why I feel blah.

Plan for the rest of the evening? Get a good walk in, do some Disney planning, head to bed early.

Hope everyone has a nice evening!:grouphug:

Tracy, I hope you got your Disney planning done. Gotta take care of that important stuff. :thumbsup2 Hope you had a good walk and a great evening.

I agree with Lisa, I hope you got the WDW planning done because lets face it, that's what makes the rest of life bearable!

If you had any more irons in the fire you'd need a personal assistant! Glad some of the issues got fixed and glad the girls won their soccer games!

Good job making a schedule, that really helps keep you focused and organized.

Hope you are getting a good night's sleep, I think you need it! Good news is that if TOM is due now, it won't bug you at WDW!

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

Lisa~ I didn't get my WDW planning done yesterday. :( I ran out of energy last night. I'm going to work on it more today though!

Amy~ I love the idea of a personal assistant!:thumbsup2

Today looks to be a less busy day. We have our morning schedule to follow and cleaning this afternoon. (Goals: clean off paperwork on couch and clip and file coupons) DD8 has soccer practice this evening as well.

I really do need to get my WDW list together. The next couple of weeks will be busy and the trip will be here before we know it. If I don't get things done gradually, we'll be running around the day we leave and since we have a late soccer game that day and a graduation party to attend, I don't think that's a good idea.

Tomorrow is weigh-in. Not looking forward to it. I've been exercising, but food hasn't been all that great. :( We'll see what happens tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great day today!:grouphug:

Hi Tracy
How's it going today? Better I hope. You have piles of paperwork around the house also? That's one of my jobs for tomorrow.

Get busy on that Disney planning girl. Gotta keep our priorities straight.:rotfl:

 and :wizard: for weigh in.

Tracy, hope today was a bit less stressful. I hear you on the trip preparation thing. So often I end up not getting things done as gradually as I'd like and it makes for a very stressful last day or two! And you want to be fresh and not exhausted before a long drive. Do you drive it straight?

The weigh in may go better than you think. I hope so, if not, well your exerise is so good so don't forget that!

being as these seem to be working for you - sending some for weigh in ;)
:wizard::wizard::wizard::wizard::wizard::wizard:
Have a great weekend :)

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

DD8 lost one of the girls' Nintendo DS games yesterday. :( We looked for it for two hours and still can't find it. I told DD that losing it was not the end of the world, but that she would need to replace it with her own money. Hopefully, she'll learn her lesson and be more careful with the games.

I weighed in this morning and showed a 2.2 pound loss! I think all that extra :wizard: worked, Tracey! :thumbsup2

I really don't feel like doing much today. :faint: TOM will be arriving soon, I didn't sleep well last night, and the girls constant bickering is driving me nuts!:headache: I need a vacation!!!!:guilty: (Good thing one is right around the corner. ;) )

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!:grouphug:

Thanks Lisa.

It's been a long day. I was really tired and not wanting to do much this morning so what did I do? I mowed the grass for an hour and a half! :faint: I'm even more tired and sore now than I was before. I think my allergies are acting up too. Isn't it too soon for that?:confused3

Plan for the evening...We've got a line of storms headed our way so I'll make dinner asap and DIS until I have to shut the computer down. ;)

Busy weekend ahead...2 soccer games (weather permitting) and babysitting my nephew. We'll probably make a trip to the Disney Store on Sunday for some Disney Dollars for our contests coming up in the next week. I'll share more about that in the next day or so....

Hope everyone has a nice Friday evening!:grouphug:
