Toystoryduo's Journal....Moving Forward From Here

Tracy, I am so sorry about your dog. It is so hard to see a beloved pet, who is a member of the family go through this. She knows how much you love her, they are so smart and insightful. Hang in there, I am sending prayers for your doggie and all of you. I know it must be hard and confusing for the girls. Just know we are all here for you come what may. :hug:

I'm glad you had a nice dinner last night, you needed that!

Keep us posted.:grouphug:

Thinking of you during this time. Hope that everything else is going well.

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

Today has been one of those days. :sad2: We've had issues with our cell phone company, our bank, and a company that we ordered a product from. :( I am just so frustrated at the moment, I want to scream!:scared1:

Did I also mention that it is snowing outside and that the snow is accumulating? :cold: Ugh! :(

Our dog is doing about the same as she was yesterday....Very minimal eating; drinking some water. :sad1:

I am hoping tomorrow is a much better day....

Tracy, I am so sorry today was lousy. I guess its a good sign she's drinking a bit of water now? I am just keeping you and your furbaby in my prayers. I hope she gets better!:hug:

As for the snow, I think I may have given you that storm. We had snow off and on all weekend and I saw on the weather it was moving to the midwest. So sorry bout that.;)

Thanks Amy. :hug: Yesterday, I asked my DDs who ordered the snow and my DD6 said she did so you're off the hook for sending the snow our way. ;) :laughing:

I am still upset about the issues we had to deal with yesterday. None of them are resolved yet!:headache: My DH is working on them today so hopefully they will be a distant memory by this evening.

Our dog is still about the same. My DH has to carry her out to go to the bathroom. She doesn't even try to get up now. :( She does drink water 2-3 times a day, but she continues to refuse food. She had a couple of bites of scrambled eggs yesterday, but that was it. I'm not sure what we are going to do. Neither one of us want to make a decision right now. It's such a tough decision to make.:sad1:

Today's Plan:

* Homeschooling

* SR

* Laundry

* Work for DH

* Workout?

That's about all from here...Hope everyone has a great day ahead!:grouphug:

I can fully relate to frustrations about dealing with services and products. We have had some of that here as well.

As for the snow, it won't last long, so there is a bright side!:goodvibes

Sending your family prayers as you go through this stage with your dog.:hug:

I'm sorry to hear you are dealing with a bunch of nonsense right now. It never ceases to amaze me how companies like cell phone, etc make tons of mistakes and it is up to us, the consumer to call them to correct it!

Hang in there with the doggie, I know this is an extremely difficult time for you right now (insert hug here, my smilies aren't working!)

Tracy - i'm so sorry your dog is so unwell, they are a member of your family so of course its hard for you all.
hope dh sorts out the problems!!

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

Today has been an okay day so far. I have been able to get some things done for my DH for work and the girls are caught up on homeschooling. We're all looking forward to spring break starting this Friday.:banana:

Our dog is still with us, but I'm not sure how much longer she has. :sad1: She is refusing all food and only drinking small amounts of water. She is not mobile at all anymore and my DH still has to carry her outside to go to the bathroom. :( It is so hard to see her like this. :sad1:

My DH should be home from work soon. I'm going to see if he wants to go out to eat tonight. It's been a long day here and I don't feel like making dinner. :faint:

While we are on Spring Break next week, I'm going to sit down and make some goals for the next couple of months. I can not keep this weight on my body. :mad: I need to get back into a regular exercise program and healthy eating again. I remember when I was complaining a couple of years ago that I was stuck at 212 and now I am stuck at 235. Ugh! I need to lose this weight!:mad:

That's about all from here...I hope everyone has a good evening!:grouphug:

Tracy, I am so sorry your dog is not better. It doesn't sound good, but who knows somtimes they can surprise us. I am keeping your family in my thoughts.

I am so glad you have spring break coming up, I think you and the girls have earned a homeschool break! That will be a good time to regroup as far as your goals are concerned. Our lives parallel so often, we weight about the same and not long ago I was miffed at being 212 as well! How I long for those days! We will just keep hanging in there together!:hug::hug:

Thanks Amy.:hug:

Our dog passed away early this morning.:sad1: This is a very difficult day for our family. :sad1:

Sorry to hear about your dog. Fortunately, you did not have to watch her suffer too long. My prayers go out to you and your family.:hug:

Oh Tracy, I am so sorry. I was afraid that might be the case. Well I truly believe that our dogs go to heaven and will be waiting for us when we get there. Take care of yourself sweetie, and again, I am just so sorry beyond words.:hug:

Tracy, I cried when I read your post. Dogs are such a huge part of our lives...they're family! I'll be praying for all of you!!

Hopefully, at least physically, you are all feeling better and the issues you've been dealing with will resolve soon.

Take it easy the next couple of days. Grief is hard on you!!:grouphug::hug:

:hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug:

Tracy, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. Hang in there. :grouphug:

Thank you so much, ladies. :grouphug:

Yesterday was a very difficult day for our family. :sad1: I think that we will have some very tough moments over the next few weeks. Our dog was a part of our family for 13.5 years and we will miss her greatly. :sad1: We are glad that she is no longer suffering though.

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers. They definitely help! :grouphug:

Today, my DH has a couple of jobs to get done. After that, we may head to the mall to walk around or we may stop and visit at my parents' house for a bit.

The girls and I are officially on Spring Break with homeschooling. :banana: We definitely need this break and we will use it to relax and have fun, but also to get the house in order and get some spring cleaning done as well.

Weigh-in today was 236.6. :( Not thrilled, but not a pressing issue at the moment.

That's about all from here. I hope everyone has a great day today and a wonderful weekend ahead! :grouphug: Happy Easter!

Yay for Spring Break! :cool1: Sounds like you have some things lined up to keep you occupied.

I envy you for being able to walk the mall without shopping! :worship:

I hope that you can get more spring cleaning done while not doing school work than I did. ;)

Hope that you have a good Easter.

Tracy, that's about how long we had Benjamin and I must say it is still a big hole in our family. They really do become part of your daily life. But as you say, she isn't suffering anymore, but you'll still be missing her. It must be so hard on the girls since they have had that dog their whole lives.

I hope you have a nice weekend and I am so happy you are on Spring Break. That is good timing given what you have going on right now.

Good job not worrying about the weigh in, you have to tackle one thing at a time. Stress and grief can wreak havoc on the weigh in thing anyway.

Hang in there and I hope you have a Happy Easter!:hug:

so sorry about your dog tracy - you are in my thoughts.
what was its name?
have a good easter break
