Toystoryduo’s Journal: Baby Steps are the Key... Celebrate Each Victory!

Happy Birthday to your DD!! (in case I forgot tomorrow)
I'm so proud of you for keeping up your exercise even though you've been so busy.
Don't worry about getting to the journals. You've been doing a lot lately.

Tracy, I get tired just reading your lists! You are one super busy lady. Have a great week and try and get a minute or two for yourself when you can! :sunny:

I agree - I get tired just reading your lists!!!! Hope the party goes well for DD. How long before your trip????

Okay Tracy, I am holding your dd's daughter to their agreement to eat up all the Mickey Bars before I arrive! My hips and thighs are counting on them!

I hope today was a good one for you. I know you have so much going on. How was the field trip? After she learns to make the pie do you get to help her eat it? Pie, mmmm just makes me drool thinking about it. Keep up the excellent work with your exercise. And as long as you are not overeating, eating late at night isn't so bad. Sometimes we eat when we get the chance! Happy Birthday tomorrow to DD5, oops, DD6!

Happy Birthday, Emily!

I can't believe that she is 6 years old already! Where has the time gone?!?!? Mommy loves you, baby! I hope you have a wonderful day! :love:

Thanks WISH buddies for your birthday wishes for my DD! :goodvibes I'll read them to her when she gets up.

Yesterday was a stressful day.... The pie making went well (DD4 got to make a pie too! :Pinkbounc ) and the pies were delicious! :thumbsup2 I should say are because there is still a few slices left. ;) Then, we came home, DH had some major work stress, and I found out they had suspended our telephone service because I forgot to pay the bill. :blush: Since we still use dial-up, I couldn't get online.... Ahhhh! :furious: It did turn out to be a blessing though because I was able to get a lot of work done yesterday, including a clean office! :thumbsup2

Today's Plan:

* No homeschool (Happy Birthday!)

* Finish laundry (1 load)

* Clean out the girls' closet and toy box; straighten their room up

* Birthday celebration when DH gets home from work

* Go to MIL's to celebrate DD's birthday

* Schedule for the next two weeks

* Relax :cloud9:

After reading my to do list from a few days ago, I really decided that I needed to cut down on a lot of the activities I had scheduled..... It has been such a blessing to just take things step by step and not get overwhelemed with things at the last minute.

Finally, I'd like to ask for your prayers and good thoughts for my DH..... He has been working like crazy and hasn't had much sleep. He's also had some stress with a particular job as well.....Thanks!

Have a great Thursday! :sunny:

Good morning WISH buddies,

Yesterday was a good news/ bad news day..... The good news? We got some things done around the house, DD6 had two birthday parties and got some cool stuff, and DH almost finished the project he has been working on with the help of his brother. :thumbsup2 The bad news? My brother called me from Dayton yesterday (on his way home from the University of Illinois) to let us know that he had been in an accident. He is fine, the other people are fine, but my brother's car is totalled. :( My parents have to go pick him up today because he stayed in a hotel in Dayton last night. Please pray that his insurance company would cooperate and that he can find a new vehicle soon.

Today's Plan:

* Workout

* Homeschool

* Craigslist?

* Pick up my check and go to Walmart

* Clean the bathroom/straighten the girls' room

This weekend, we have DD6's birthday party with her friends tomorrow and then her birthday party at our house on Sunday. My DH is working OT tonight and tomorrow night because he has Wed-Sat. off next week. ( :yay: for time off!)

It should be a great weekend. We're all looking forward to my DD's birthday parties and hopefully, an OHIO STATE WIN over Michigan! :cheer2:

Have a great weekend!

Have a fun weekend, and Yahh on your DH having some upcoming time off. :sunny:

My BIL is a professor at Ohio State (they live in Columbus) and I heard through some family members that he put his 2 tix on Ebay for tons of money. Haven't heard if he sold them or not. Maybe he made a bundle and will take us all to Disney! (yeah, right!) :rotfl:

Hi Tracy. Thank God your brother is okay, I really hope the insurance comes through for him. That sounds very stressful for him and you, I hope it works out. I love the name Emily, if I had had a third baby that was going to be her name! I will keep your dh in my thoughts, that is so much work he is doing, too much really but I know its a good thing too, so I'll just pray the opportunites to work continue but that he and you get through it! I am so glad you cut that list down, too much is just that, too much! I hope you have a great weekend and that mil's was fun for all of you. Happy Birthday Emily, you are a lucky little gir to have such a great mommy!! And thanks for all your good thoughts and wishes for me and my family. You are indeed my friend and Wish Sis! :goodvibes

Thanks friends! :goodvibes

Yesterday was a good day until I lost my paycheck! :scared1: I remember going to work, writing my schedule on the envelope, and then putting it in my back pocket and now I can't find it. :confused3 I have no idea what happened to it. I even checked the washer because I washed my jeans last nght and no such luck. I'll have to go into work after DD's birthday party and tell my boss what happened. :worried: I hope I don't get into too much trouble.

Other than that, yesterday was a good day. Didn't get any cleaning done, but I did a lot of work for DH and talked to a friend of mine who just had a baby. Plus, I got some running around done, but I lost my check. :sad:

Today's Plan:

* Birthday party!

* Workout

* eBay sent out

* A couple of store returns

* Church/Dinner @ MIL's

Hope everyone has a great weekend! GO BUCKS GO! :cheer2:

Hey Ohio won! My minister is a Michigan man and was bummed (thats how I found about the game during his sermon tonight) but I was happy for you! Hope you found your check. I am sure your boss will understand. Happy weekend, thanks for all your support in my journal. I am still so bummed we will miss each other at WDW, that would have been so cool to meet face to face!

Way to go Buckeyes! :cheer2: What a game yesterday! :thumbsup2

Yesterday went well. My DDs had a great time at Emily's birthday party and their friends had fun too. party: We were blessed with a nice discount on the party too! It should have been around $60, but we paid $39. Woohoo! :woohoo:

We went to church and then went to my MIL's house after dinner. I would appreciate any good thoughts and prayers that you can send her way.... She has been feeling down for awhile now. Finances, work, family stress.... She's having a tough time right now. :( :hug:

Hello friends,

Long day today..... I woke up early and full of energy. By noon, I needed a nap and didn't get one. DH was supposed to be home around 1:00 and showed up around 6:30 p.m. I appreciate all of his hard work, but I would appreciate a break too!

Managed a workout (30 mins), craft, cleaned the girls' room, and did some laundry.... Washer's acting kind of funny.. :(

Now, I am really not feeling well. I am tired, my head hurts, and my jaw aches. I still have to homeschool tonight although I may postpone that until tomorrow.

Off to have a cup of tea and watch Charlie Brown..... Have a good one!

Hi Tracy-
just wanted to catch up on your journal..You have been SO busy!! No wonder you arent feeling too great tonight! Please get some rest if you can before you go away..
I cant believe your trip is coming up so soon and happy late birthday to your daughter!
have a great night!

Thanks Jen... I'm glad you had a great cruise! :goodvibes Welcome Back! :hug:

Yesterday was a long day..... I am glad today is here! ;) Lots of stuff to do today:

* Homeschool

* Workout (Done .... 60 minutes of cardio/weights/abs)

* Errands (Bank, bank, post office, Toys R Us, Disney Store, e.t.c)

* Laundry... my washer is acting up :sad:

* Work (5-9:30 p.m.)

In terms of healthy living, I have been eating quite well. Part of the problem is that I am eating late at night sometimes. Not a lot of food and not horrible food, but I am still eating after 8:00 p.m. some days. Exercise is going well. The next few days, I plan on some long walks as the temps. are supposed to be in the 50s with lots of :sunny: . I should probably try and see if I can break in my new tennis shoes. I've only worn them once and planned on wearing them to WDW... maybe I won't though. :headache:

As for the scale.... I feel like I have lost some weight. My clothes are fitting better and I feel stronger. However, I have felt like this for the past month or so and last time I weighed myself, there was absolutely no loss at all. :furious: I will weigh myself before Disney so Iican get a feel for how much weight I gain on vacation.

Well, that's all for now... Hope everyone has a great day! :sunny:

Hi Tracy!

Hey great job with the healthy eating! And I know the hardest thing is to not munch around at night (I used to do the same thing)...I found that drinking a big glass of water around 8:30 or so helps curb that late night snack appetite. (just make sure you hit the restroom before bed!!)

And your scale issue...hey, if you feel better and notice your clothes fitting better but you haven't lost weight, it just means you've turned some fat into muscle! That's a good thing. Measuring tapes are far better indicators of weight loss than a scale if you are working out consistently. So good job!! Feeling better is the whole idea anyway ;)

Have a great day and thanks for your support!

OSU #1!! GO BUCKS!

Hi Tracy!!!

Wow...great job on the healthy eating and the exercise!! You are doing so great girl!!! :thumbsup2 I'm really proud of you!

Keep up the good work...and thank you for inspiring my lazy butt to get back to the ebay listings. :) I've listed a ton of stuff these past few weeks and hope to make some money to help pay for our WDW Marathon trip. THANKS Tracy! :grouphug:

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

Wow, you are doing great! :thumbsup2 I agree with Scojo. Measuring yourself is a great way to notice changes. I've had the scale not budge, but dramatic changes in measurements.

You're doing a great job with making good food choices and exercising!! :cheer2: :cheer2: You're always so busy yet you're finding the time to take care of YOU. Way to go!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Wanted to stop by and wish you and your family a great Thanksgiving holiday!!

Happy Turkey Day!
