Toys R Us After Christmas Sales?

How are the after Christmas sales at Toys R Us? The reason I ask is because DD11 will be staying with her cousins for a few days during Christmas vacation while I work. I wanted to get some board games (age ranges 3-11) so all the kids can play together and a couple for the older kids. I was thinking 4 games in all and a pack of Uno cards.

Anyway, are the sales better after Christmas or before?

To be honest, I rarely find deals at TRU. Their regular prices are higher than most places, so their "sales" are not a deal. Kohl's has lots of board games right now at good prices and all of the major stores had board games in their ads this week.

What about after Christmas? I have no problem going to Kohls, Target, Wal Mart or wherever I can get the best deals. I have to wait until after Christmas because every penny I have right now is allocated to bills, medical, and remaining Christmas gifts.

I would check out Target's after XMas sale (you can look ahead of time to see if they have games--I know they have some XMas toys I hope to pick up). Target usually goes to 50% off on 12/26.

I know you're looking to buy later, but about a month ago TRU had a great game sale with rebates and everything. I got about 4-5 games for $10 or so after rebates.

Also, Five Below has some surprisingly good deals if you're lucky.
