can't help you specifically with the Land Rover, but, we're a Toyota family. I have a 10 year old Rav4 with 138k on it, runs just as great as it did when we bought it, we only had to replace the timing belt at about 100k. My mom has a 10 year old Corolla, 140k on it, she's had no probs. Dh has a Toyota Tacoma that had 125k on it when some dingbat crashed into him and totalled it. He walked away from a complete side impact crash at full speed with no injuries. Before my Rav I owned a Corolla, bought it w/28k on it, drove it til it had 150k on it, sold it, and it's still going strong at almost 200k. I love my Rav, and hope to upgrade to a FourRunner in a year or two.
