Since I got some negative feedback on the Nissan Altima, what is everyone's experiences with both the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord?

I had a Honda Accord for awhile and it was great. No major problems with it.

No experience with the Camry--but I am a die hard Honda fan. Will likely only own Hondas--no matter how much $$ I make.

Go for the Accord. The new ones are pretty stylin'.

my hubby has owned both. He had an Accord when I met him and then got another one. Then he switched over the to Camry. He still has the Camry. It's a 1998 and has had no problems.

He loved both.

Sorry, I'm probably no help!

my mom just got a new honda accord!! it is sooo nice if you want more info from her just pm her (crz4mm2) im sure she will give you some great info. its an awesome car!!!!

My husband has owned two Accords (got the 2nd because he fell in love with the newer coupe and we managed to lower his payment due to a deal we found). He has loved them both and neither had any major problems at all. His 1st Accord kept him safe during two accidents and the ride and reliablity of both have been great.

I had test driven both Accords and Camry's a few years back (wound up with a Civic though) and just the ride of the Accord won out for me, and I almost bought an Accord myself, but I decided I wasn't as comfortable with a larger car. Both were great cars and it would have been tough to decide. Good luck :)

I love my Camry (2002). I'll probably be getting a Solara next year and can't wait for that either!!! We are a Toyota family (DH has a Tundra).

I have had two camrys and liked both of them a lot. Will definitely be looking for another camry next time I buy a car.

Had both. Loved both. Check them out, then go with whichever you like better with confidence.

Had the first year Accord, '76 hatchback, and the first year 4-door Accord, both great cars.

I had 2 Accords and really liked them both. I honestly think you'll get a bit more for you money if you go back and rethink the Altima. It's a great car!

I had a 78 Accord years ago. It ran great even in 1990.

Since BIL works for Honda we usually get Hondas. We recently inherited MIL's Accord and at first I wasnt thrilled with it. The color wasnt my first choice and I would have liked to pick out a car that I felt was more us(not her;) ). But it made more financial sense to keep it and sell our 98 CRV so we did that and I have to say Ive been happy with the Accord. Its a comfortable car with a nice ride. Of course the sun roof helped to sway my opinion, LOL, but, I do like it a lot.

I've had both over the years! You really can't go wrong w/ either. I currently drive a 2002 Accord Sedan and I really like it. Dh had a Camry that he drove until the mileage was over 170k. We have never had any major repair issues w/ any of the Camry's or Accords we have owned.

Great cars. My dh's 1988 Accord has 160,000+ miles on it when someone turned left in front of him. Since then, he's driven a 1995 Camry. We plan to keep that car several more years!

I have a 99 Camry with 92,000 miles on it (it's a loooong way to work....). It's been GREAT. Only work done on it is maintainance (brakes replaced twice, belts replaced). I am having some sort of minor electrical problem... the driver-side window goes down, but sometimes doesn't want to go back up. Also, in a really bad rain storm I lose my air conditioning (probably getting water somewhere it ought not to be). The engine is great though.

When I bought my Camry one of the reasons I chose it over the Accord was the trunk was a lot bigger. It cost less than the Accord, too.

I will not hesitate to buy another Camry when the time comes.

BOTH GREAT CARS!

I have always stuck with Hondas because I have yet to find a Toyota dealership that wasn't the spawn of Satan. Seriously, I have attempted to buy a Toyota from 4 diff dealerships all over the state and they are TERRIBLE! I can't understand how anyone ever buys one... they are rude, handle things poorly, and attempt to rip you off in everyway. Each time I ended up walking out ticked off... My sis just had another bad exp with one, and ended up with a Honda again! I've worked with 6 diff Honda dealerships and have always had a good exp.

Good luck in whateevr you decide!

I have an 04 Accord. I LOVE it. I have had SUVs for the past several years but love this car. Ride is great. Gas mileage is great. Insurance was cheaper on brand new Accord than it was on an 02 Kia SUV.
Crash rating is fabulous. has side air bags.
I've never had a Camry, but have a friend who loves hers just as much as I love my Accord.

Just bought my Honda Accord EX in June and I love it!! I had been looking at the Camrys but couldn't find the equipment, color and style that I wanted all together. The Accord EX came with everything I wanted on it. My kids even love it. I hardly ever drive the minivan anymore!

I had an '87 Accord that I kept for ten years and then sold it to a guy at work who drove it for quite a bit longer (may still be driving it - I've moved).

The Accord never failed me - unlike the pathetic GM cars that I bought in the 70s and 80s. I replaced the Accord with an Odyssey in '97 that I am still driving.

Neither car has ever needed any repair work other than the normal battery, tires, maintenance type stuff.

I've never had a Toyota, but I know the people who own them are just as pleased as I am with Hondas.

I've dealt with Honda dealerships in three different states and can honestly say that the support and service are top notch across the board.

I found it easier to buy a Honda than a Toyota because they have far few things that are options - usually 3 trim variations for each model. The Toyota web site has more things that you picked out individually so it makes it a little harder to compare.
