Toy Story Pizza Planet

Could somebody please tell me about this place? Is it anything like the Pizza Planet restaurant in "Toy Story?" My DD LOVES that scene!

Pizza Planet has a large arcade downstairs with the restaurant to the far right. They serve pizza, salads, etc. and the food is really pretty good. There is plenty of seating upstairs overlooking the games. It is a great change of pace and a nice place to cool off for a while. Here is a link to their menu:

We went in December. The pizza and salads were very good. The kids loved it (DH and I did too). We sat outside and people watched. Good CS meal. Have fun!

I don't think the decor inside the "real thing" looks anything like the Pizza planet in the movie. I've only been there twice, but our experience was that seating is not at all adequate upstairs. We sat on the floor in the corner one time and "pounced" on the first table that even looked like it was about to be vacated. My kids love it, though, so we will do it again.

The interior looks nothing like the movie, as it is well lighted with airey windows. No signature astronaut with pop up aliens or space ship with the claw. Still, not a bad place to grab a bit and let the kids unwind on some games.

No not really like the film, but the food is really good!! the salad with thousand island dressing is fab!!! and the pizzas are really tasty. we always visit when we are there. good place to hang waiting on the next entry to muppetvision 3D. Take plenty of money in with you. lots of arcade game to play.

We had heard bad reviews about this place and were not lloking forward to eating there but dd's had their heart set on it. Overall we really enjoyed the food: yummy pizzas and cookies (salad was a little wilted but edible). Go for it.

the food is ok...but the atmosphere really isnt anything like it was in the movie..we were a bit disappointed....like they had the big spaceship claw game ..but they didnt have aliens in it..that would have been great....

I know that ds won't want to miss Pizza Planet! Even DH thought that was really neat when he heard about it.. too bad it's not more like the movie, though

Went last year for the first time. Pizza was actually pretty decent (I was expecting frozen cardboard type pizza). I was with friends whose boys are big fans of Toy story and not one of the kids realized we were in "pizza planet" from the movie. Not one, lol.

I agree that they should have the aliens in the claw game! Everytime we go we say the same thing! We live in NY so the pizza is kind of like Pizza Hut or Dominos to us. Not bad, just not "real" pizza as my 7yo says. We keep going back because the kids just love the idea that they are eating at Pizza Planet. It doesn't seem to bother them that it looks nothing like the one in the movie. We even met Buzz there once!
