Toy Story Parking is Expanding

They should just build another parking deck on the employee lot at the corner of Ball and Harbor.

They planned to build a structure on harbor behind the motels. The city wouldn’t approve the bridge they wanted to build which then resulted in Disney expanding at M&F.

The city didn't approve it because Disney didn't want to give any access to the street on that bridge. Disney wanted to make it very difficult for park goers to leave and eat off property so they would buy food from Disney at their prices. Disney's greed killed that project.

It was to keep the bridge within the security perimeter so they could move security check to the lot (like at M&F parking). Eastern gateway wouldn't have removed a Harbor street entrance/exit so people would have had just as much access to Harbor as they do now. It was all bluster from local businesses that they would miss out on foot traffic... but they wouldn't have had it anyway, just like they get no foot traffic from people taking the bus from Toy Story Lot.

I wonder if there will still be foot access from the Harbor side. We've used the Toy Story buses for years when we stay in that area.

Yeah, I will still try my hardest to never park at the structure, the trams take way too long.

I have tried a couple times to park at M&F structure and I it always takes longer almost at every part of the experience. It takes longer to get to the booth off the main road and is more confusing. Also a shorter time to get to your parking spot at Toy Story lot. Always less walking to get to the bus going to the park or leaving the park compared to getting to the trams. And leaving the M&F structure has a huge learning curve to get out of it. I am so excited Toy Story lot is getting bigger, another entrance, bathrooms, and security before you get on the bus. I am really enjoying Project Stardust.
