There is only a single track running until TSL opens? So not only is there no FP, but the overall capacity is significantly reduced? How long should I expect to wait for this if I arrive at RD?

I would arrive 60 min prior to opening to beat the crowd. If you can beat the crowd then you can be on any ride within 0-15 min. The line is brutal during the day. When I was there a couple weeks ago it was a pretty steady 2 hour wait and sometimes more

Who said it would take that long? It could already be done and Disney simply doesn't want to open the entrance to TSL.

Given Disney's history, it's highly unlikely that the area is currently complete three months out from their expected open date. However, I hadn't given thought to their being unable to use the new entrance without opening the rest of the TSL.

I guess what I don't understand is that the three tracks are complete. It's only the entrance/queue lines that are being restructured. With most of that outside now in a makeshift area, why is only one track operational? Not having fastpasses is not a big deal if all three tracks are running.

Does anyone know if having a PPO ADR at Hollywood & Vine give you any advantage for rope dropping TSMM??

Man, I seriously hope those weren't taken today. They don't look far enough along to be looking at a June 30th opening. For those of us hoping for a soft opening in May, I would have thought they'd be farther along by now.

I don't think it would, everyone is held in Hollywood Boulevard until opening, and people are let into the park from 8.30, so unless you were finished with your breakfast and waiting there before 8.30 you would be behind those who had entered from 8.30 until you got out.

I was thinking the same thing. Seems like there at least ought to be pavement by now. I think it will be a race to open by June 30.
