Toy Story Lot Questions

I'm staying at the DoubleTree and the TS lot it looks to be close to the hotel. I assume there is a shuttle to/from the park from this lot? If so, where does it drop/pick you up? My main concern is walking. I'm used to the garage and taking the tram. I'll be attending the 24 hr event and know I'll be exhausted at 6am Saturday and want to know how much walking is involved in using Toy Story lot as opposed to the garage. Thanks for any help/suggestions.

The shuttles are in the middle of the lot, you'd have to walk in and out of the lot, which would be more walking than many of the spaces at M&F. But at M&F you could end up parked in the back corner. You may want to just use the taxi stand on Harbor and get a ride right to your hotel.

I was wondering about the Toy Story lot. We are thinkning of changing our hotel from Hojo to the Hyatt Place for our August trip. Its cheaper with free breakfast. My only hang up is the ART with multiple stops. I was wondering if it was reasonable to walk to the Toy Story lot and catch their bus to the parks. I heard you can do this. We normally stay onsite, so I am totally lost when it comes to transportation.

Search Google maps for "Toy Story Transportation Center." Then you can get walking directions to your hotel. Basically you'd walk from the shuttle stop to the corner of Harbor and Convention Way. I'd estimate it's about 2 long blocks to Harbor from the stop.

If you look on google maps where it drops you off in the lot is at the circle on Convention Way. It would definitely be a shorter walk than all the way from the park. It is about a block from your hotel to the lot. The TS lot is buses and picks you up at the east side of the promenade. You might want to try and walk to the TS lot on your way in the morning so you have an idea how long of a walk it is while you are still fresh. Then on your way out if you want to go for that or choose to do a taxi instead.

I stayed at the Hyatt Place and walked to the Toys Story Parking Lot. It's an easy walk...not even 10 minutes. And it's free! Love the Hyatt Place! Would do this again in a heartbeat!

We stayed at a hotel right next to the Hyatt and used the parking lot tram a few times. With the wait to get on the tram, stopping at traffic lights etc. It probably took us longer to get to the hotel versus just walking but it was so nice to rest our feet for 10 minutes of what would have been a 20 minute walk. We didn't use it every night mostly because we had to fold up our stroller to ride the shuttle but it is worth it especially if you don't have a stroller to fold up.

Great, someone who has stayed here! How was the pool? My boys love swimming so we need a decent pool. Did you try walking to the parks from the Hyatt Place? We have a 1 year old and usually have a stroller. I was thinking we could walk and the grandparents can go with our older boys on the TS parking lot bus.
