Toy Story land projected opening date?

Oops, Thinking DL.

I don't think they are worried about price of ticket but customer satisfaction over crowds and keeping guests in a single park all day to keep them spending. Travel time between parks is lost revenue producing time.

Perhaps...but there's no "rush" on any of this...

I read through all of this and it seems to be split as of January between 2018 and 2019 opening it's now mid may is this still the case? Has anyone seen if they are doing anything that would support either?

I'm more curious about this land compared to Star Wars if only because it's actually suppose to open first. That said, most updates focus on SWL. Next year's trip is planned for June instead of August due to travel partners and am really hoping this will be open by then for my little guy (he'll be 3).

Makes since for Disney to finish Toy Story land in 2018 and try for a summer opening. They need to boost attendance for HS and spread out the crowds more, I think we all agree there. Toy Story Land will help but not fix this issue but it will give a couple of rides for the kids to enjoy (and me) to try to keep me in that park all day. As it is now, I'm done by 11am going back to resort and hanging by the pool coming back in time for the fireworks then done for the day. They are lucky if I eat any meals in HS as I'm not there long enough for that. At worse, Toy Story Land should keep me in the park long enough that I have to eat lunch in the park.

Star Wars Land isn't going to spread out the crowds. This should bring in new people into the parks and the die heart Disney / Star Wars fan back to the parks. If Disney Does Star Wars Land right, the crowds for HS will be higher than ever and that way for years to come. (now back to my planing of sw land 2019 trip.)

I cannot imagine Disney delaying Toy Story with phase 3 sitting there as long-term planning for DHS. Plus with some recent news the first phase of Epcot's redevelopment looks to be a lot bigger and more involved then we thought. Having major construction at DHS, Epcot and Magic Kingdom. Getting something done and open at DHS will be a priority before they start the major construction at Epcot and any updates and developments at MK.

We were planning on April of 2018 but now I changed it to end of May beginning of June in hopes that Toy Story will be open! Were not getting that over here on the West coast so I'm excited for my kids to see it. From what we've heard over hear, Toy Story is 2018 and SW is 2019 and Our's is 2019 too.
