Toy Story Land - post your experiences and questions here

On the My Disney Experience app, it lists the Alien ride as ‘must transfer from ECV /wheelchair, which means the line is accessible to both.

The Slinky Dog attraction is listed as ‘must transfer from ECV to wheelchair, then transfer to attraction seat’.

For anyone with mobility problems the line ( even FP) for TSM is very long both going in and coming out it is not longer a short walk ( it comes close to soarin or maybe I was just very tired ) but I would bring your mobility device with you since it is much longer of a walk.

I’ve been watching a lot of the videos that have been posted in the last few days.
It did seem like a long walk so I looked at the time. It took nearly 3 minutes to walk from the exit door to the end of the exit route back to the main area.

3 minutes would not surprise me at all ( if you do the newer 3 track it did seem a little of a shorter of a walk to get out. the walk to get in( FastPass) seemed long too

Wow. That is much longer than before! I know they re-did the queues to open/exit into TSL; when I imagined it, there would still be a fairly straight shot to load/unload area for the HA cars. Good to know that it's a long trek so everyone can plan accordingly.

For me the distance for the Soarin queue isn't a problem. It's the up and down hills they added. Is the new Toy Story entrance flat?

We find that issue in Soarin’ pushing our daughter’s wheelchair.
It’s especially an issue where you have to stop on a slope.
I do not remember any big hills. ( if there was it was so slight that I did not notice it walking)
from the videos I have seen, it looks like your memory is probably correct.
The only hill I saw was one ramp that looks like it leads to the accessible boarding area

Yes the ramp is still there I think it was the same one as before

looking back at some of the pictures I took the land itself is not flat but it does go up will slightly from about where woody is standing and it goes up to where the entrance is to SDD ( it is not as bad as the entrance to the land or to get to jungle cruise, but there is an uphill so that the train can go under you but it is such a long uphill it is not so steep) there are also cracks in the ground ( they are to look like the mud cracked and then andy shew prints the show prints look deeper than they really are since they used dark paint to make them look deeper

Here is a video I found on the slink dog ride it talks about plus size people but she also shows you ( at 6.12 and again at the end of the video)) the wheelchair transfer vehicle ( it was not in use just you can see the outline of where it would open.

This also shows how much room you really do have you have a little step ( like on a ship the little steps you have to step over to go other doors)

I will add that there really is no single rider line but an odd-even line just before you get on for one ride care they took mostly even line people then the next train they took mostly odd line people. I was alone and every time the CM asked me if I was ok riding with someone else I do have a disability and I think this day it was pretty obvious that I do so I di not think this is normal but if your disability makes it hard for you to ride with someone next to you then I would talk to the CM they may say no but they might accommodate you, I never asked to be sit alone the CM just asked me if I was ok with someone else

I recently returned from WDW and rode the DHS's Slinky Rollercoaster and Spinning Aliens using a rental wheelchair that I was thinking about buying.

I haven't been to WDW in several years and I was surprised that the cast members actually asked if I needed help or offered me a helping hand. Years before, cast members always told me they were not allowed to give a helping hand per their Disney policy, but they could call the EMT's.

I went to early entry and arrived to the gate at 0600. They started letting us in around 0630, but only to the front of the street. About 10 minutes later they let us go to the end of the street. Then after about 5 minutes, they let us go to Toy Story Land. I had never been before and it was the second day of opening. I stayed on the left side of the line as best as I could. I didn't realize that once that I got to Toy Story Land entrance and I saw some space to the left that I was actually in the standby line. So, I got out and headed over to Swinging Aliens. I had a Fast Pass+ for 0840 for the Slinky Rollercoaster.

When I arrived at the Spinning Aliens at 0701, the wait time was 5 minutes. I arrived near the entrance and they separated me when they asked if I was a single rider. They also directed me to the accessible entrance and said they would help me drive to the seat. I got on. It was much wider than MK's spinning saucers. After the ride, the cast member met me with my wheelchair. I think that if I had waited they might have brought it to me beside the ride seat.

Since I had so much time, I rode the Toy Story Mania ride. They separated me again, They also had the wheelchair seat that allowed me to drive on and strapped down and another space for a guest. The exit seemed like the only shady place and seemed like a long walk.

The accessible rest room is located across from the Spinning Aliens and next to the quick food service. It seemed a little larger. It also had an extra toilet roll affixed to the wall next to the fold down infant changer table.

At 0840, I entered with my FP+. They told me I could only enter 5 minutes prior to my FP+. I thought it was 15 minutes. I was surprised that they would help me to the Slinky Rollercoaster seat and help me in if I needed it. I had plenty of supports to hold on to get in and out. They rolled my wheelchair out of the way and rolled it back next to the Slinky Rollercoaster and then again asked me if I needed help. I exited on the same side that I got on to the ride. I didn't see any special slide in seats. I wish that I had asked and that I took pictures
