I think I heard that Woody, Bullseye and Jesse from Toy Story 2 are often spotted at something called the Diamond Saloon in MK. Has anyone experienced this?

We really want to see these characters but have pretty much decided to spend our 2 days at MK instead of doing both MK & MGM.

Thanks!

I saw Buzz over by Carousel of Progress in Tomorrowland on our trip. Woody and Jessie were over in Frontierland in front of the Rivers of America. There was a line to see them, but it was in the shade under some trees. It was not in a building, but that may have been because it was cooler. As I'm not too familiar with MK's layout, I don't know if that was the saloon in question.

The Diamond Horseshoe is right there where you saw them. We were there beginning of May and Woody and Jesse were over by the water, too. So they are actually across the street from the DH. I don't know about it only being that way when it is cool, it was like 90 that day.

But they are in Frontierland...The Diamond Horseshoe is between Liberty Square and the Shooting Arcade, right next to Liberty Tree Tavern. We saw Woody and Jesse across the path from the DH, under some trees. :teeth:

I knew that they were in MGM, but I had no idea that they were in MK too!

We just came back from WDW on Friday. We saw Buzz between the Carousel of Progress and the Buzzlightyear ride and Woody and Jesse near the Diamond Horshoe.

Some of my favorite character pictures are from the MK Diamond Horseshoe character greeting area. The CM's on duty kept teasing Jessie that my daughter and I were her long-lost cousins because of our red hair. :)

:cheer2:

2 years ago we saw them also in the Diamond horseshoe. It's really nice in there and lots of room to see the characters. Woody,Jessie and Bullseye were all there. The times are outside the salloon on a board.

Everyone,

Thanks so much for your feedback! I will just continue to hope that they are still there when we go in December! My DD, 2.5, likes Cinderella, hasn't discovered the other Princesses but absolutely LOVES Buzz & Jesse! Weird, I know!

Thanks again!

Last May, we saw Jesse and Woody at Diamond Horseshoe and Buzz in the space that used to have Timekeeper right near the Space Ranger Spin. We did also see Buzz and Woody at MGM, but the interaction with the characters was just as good at the Magic Kingdom. I think you can stop in at townhall when you get to MK and get a schedule of the character greets for the day.

Woody and Jesse have a regularly scheduled signings near the Diamond Horseshoe. If you want to find the green army men I have only seen thewm at MGM. While we don't do any characters that have lines (no kids yet), we happened to be walking by when the truck of army men pulled in and they jumped off the leader commanded that everyone from nice orderly lines and then the men would see them. It was quite funny.

My DD6 didn't discover the princesses until our trip last June. The year before she was all about Buzz, Woody and Bullseye. She even dressed as Buzz for Halloween that year! In 2005 though we took her to the castle for breakfast with the Princesses and she has now discovered her inner princess and can't wait to see them again this year!

Oh, she's got a fair amount of Diva in her! Also, since it is 6 months away we could be princess crazy by December. I do want to make sure we see the Toy Story gang though (because I must admit, I love them too!!!).

My DD6 just suddenly went nuts over the Toy Story characters as well. It must be something in 6 year old girls' bloodstreams. ;)

Does anyone have a picture of Bullseye? Is it one person in the costume, or two, like a traditional pantomime horse?

The Diamond Horseshoe once had a show with many characters, where the kids could dance and play with the characters, my two older grandsons just love burning that engery up in there, dancing and jumping around, but I have not heard whether that show was still going on. Does anyone have any information on that past show.?

Only that its "past" and not done any more, at least last I heard. :(

This past Saturday Buzz was in front of the Carousel of Progress posing for pics & signing autographs.
