Toy Story Breakfast

Sorry, gang, this is probably a very old question that you're all tired of seeing. But even though I joined these boards awhile ago, I've never been to this "rumors" section and I thought it was the appropriate place for this question.
Two questions....one, where did rumor of a new Toy Story Character Breakfast at MGM start anyway?!
And two......why in the world would it take Disney so long to come up with something special for what some would say is Disney's greatest movie?!!!!

How did the rumor get started?

woody told me when I was waiting out behind muppet vision one day. Not really, he doesn't talk. It got started because it is something a lot of people would probably like to see so they are hopeful for it. I imagine you will probably see something like it at some point - hm, didn't they just open up a character meal at the studios.
