I just returned from WDW this morning. We used Tiffany Town Car. We arrived late Sat night and when the driver met us at the baggage claim he told me we ahd to walk to Terminal B where his car was. Our luggage, etc. was in Terminal A. So after retrieveing our suitcase we had to walk up an escalator across the airport down an elevator, then down by the rental car agencies where he told us to wait where the Hertz rental car bus picks you up. Ten minutes later he arrived with the car.

My question is - Is this normal to have to walk across terminals? It was very difficult because I had my carry on, my DS age 4's back pack and my son in my arms walking across the terminals, while the driver was pulling our suitcase. I didn't have to do this the last time we used TTC but that was pre 9/11. We are going back in May and using the same airline (Southwest) Will this happen again if we book with a different service?

Thanks for your help!

He was there right in front of our terminal when we flew down 2 years ago. And last year, they were waiting right outside our train as we came into the station (Amtrak). They parked right in front and had the A/C blasting in the car (it was nice since it was so HOT when we arrived!)

I would complain to them about your service. Perhaps, you could get a refund or credit? That is not like them to be that way. I would complain!!

NO that's not normal!! If you come off the A side terminals (s/west side) we walk you down to level 1 were all the commercial vehicles are and the driver go's over to get his car. From the A side for the driver to get his car it takes about 8 to 11 min. From the B side ( that's the side you were on ) it takes about 5 to 7 min..Rabittsz http://www.Yourride.net

Jackie....we arrived at the Orlando airport last Wednesday and also used Tiffany Town Car and flew Southwest. We did not have to walk to the other terminal. Our driver helped us right outside the baggage claim area and told us he needed to go get the car and to wait right there. He was gone for about 10-15 minutes so I am guessing he had to park pretty far away.

Yikes! Not normal at all! Happy Limo is always at the terminal where we pick up our luggage, and I would certainly except any towncar service to be the same. At the very least, I would think that the driver should have gone and gotten the car & driven it to the other terminal. I would not have been happy about having to haul stuff to the other terminal. We use Happy Limo a LOT, as we take a Disney cruise almost every month, and this has never happened to us.
