I would greatly appreciate any recommendations or warnings for the towncar services. We are staying at the Swan in Aug so ME is not an option Thanks in advance for all of your words of wisdom
We have used *********** on numerous occasions. Most recently we used them in October for a return trip to MCO from SSR at 4:30AM. We couldn't use ME because we didn't book a room for the previous night so we technically were squatters for about 4.5 hours. I have always been very impressed with their service, always prompt and on-time, polite, pleasant and genuine people. They don't make you pay ahead of time and the tip is never figured in to the cost of the trip. You decide only after the service how much, if at all, to tip. They have been great about picking us up at the airport following a delayed flight and they have been very accomodating in taking us to our grocery store of choice. I would HIGHLY suggest you check them out.
Oh, sorry, just say that my post put **** over the name of the company. Not sure why, they weren't the "bad" company that was banned a while ago. But, at any rate, if you want to know, you can pm me. I'll send you a link to their website.
I have used Sunray Transportation six times in the past 2 years. They are wonderful. The website is www.sunraytransportation.com.
The rate from MCO to any Disney resort is $90 and includes a free grocery stop. You can get an additional discount if you mention The MouseforLess.
They have always been waiting for us at the bottom of the escalator, even when our flight was delayed and when I screwed up the flight numbers.
I recommend them to everybody.
I second Sunray Transportation. I just booked them for a friend of mine (for her trip last month.) She had nothing but glowing comments about the car and driver.
We are also using SUN-RAY for the first time in April. I will post how they are.
We were able to get $8 off with Mouseforless.
They do a free 30 minute grocery stop. Well worth it for water bottles and evening snacks. Even some breakfast bars too.
We used FL Tours - they are prompt, curtious and clean cars. But my DH was not impressed with the driver. He spoke "broken" English - but did know where he was going and did not get lost.
We also used Tiffany many years ago. They are also nice, prompt and clean cars. But I have heard the owners have changed- so I do not know of their service as of today.
