Hello everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me with this situation. I purchased our airline tickets on United for our April weddingmoon vacation. I "later" checked and it said to check in at the USair counter. (PHL) I will assume this means we are flying on a USAir plane. My question is, I already booked our towncar (via online) and stated that we are flying United, gave them the flight # and time. Do I need to tell the Towncar company that it's really Usair that we are coming in on?

Thank!

Lori

Our experience has been that they meet us at the luggage area and will track your flight arrival. Our last driver (last week) met us at the bottom of the escalator with a sign with our name on it. It might not be a bad idea to give them a heads-up, though.

My DB owns a Limo Company in MA and what he said is that they track your flight to determine when to arrive and that most if not all limo companies do the same. As long as your airline and flight # is good, they will find you. You may be on a code share flight, but that flight will operate under the flt# you are assigned.

United and US Air both use Baggage claim B, so they will be waiting for you at the bottom of the escalator....... You could call to let them know, just in case, but I don't see any problems here....

You could call United to see if you are actually flying US Air or if United uses US Airs flight area at your airport. We fly Sun Country back to MSP from MCO, yet they use Delta's counter for checking in their passengers.
