It almost seems sacreligious to mention towncars these days with DME, but I want my grocery stop, and the town car will cost 1/2 the rental car. But here is my question: FL Tours or Tiffany Towncar?
We are a family of 4: me (36), DH (38), DD1 (6) and DD2 (will turn 4 less than a month after we get home). Right now, both of my DDs are in booster seats as opposed to carseats. If for some reason, I only have one seat (happens occassionally), DD2 uses it because she is smaller. DD1 is on that cusp of not really needing one, but the only reason I still use it with her is for seatbelt placement. DD2, on the other hand, still needs the booster.
Here is the dilemma: I looked at FL Tours, but their site mentioned that they do not carry carseats in the towncars due to size limitations. Tiffany's site didn't really have any helpful information when it came to carseats that I could find. While I understand FL Tours concerns, I have fit 5 people in a midsized vehicle with 2 car/booster seats before. It is not the most comfortable situation (seats digging into hips), but it was safe (all seat belts fastened with no problems). I cannot imagine why 2 booster seats and a normal sized adult cannot fit in the back seat of a towncar.
Does anyone have any experience with either company and booster seats?? TIA.
