Hi all! My husband and I recently traded in our travel trailer for a beautiful Raven fifth wheel. Because he travels about 300 nights a year, we keep the camper parked on site not far from home to use on weekends, and do not own a truck. The place we bought it from towed it and leveled it for us. I would love to have the new camper towed to the Fort in August for my son and I to use. Does anyone have any idea what it would cost to have a
5th wheel towed from northeast PA to Disney and back? I don't even know where to begin. Thanks!!

I cannot imagine that this will be a cheap thing to do with the cost of diesel pushing $4 per gallon in a lot of the country. It might be cheaper to rent the cabins at Fort Wilderness or even to rent a camper locally and have it put on site for you. Check the web for "campatthefort".com. However, if you would like to get a quote on what it would cost to have your own 5th wheel towed down there and back, check out this link: http://www.towingrv.com/

I read all the time advertisements for $ 1.50 per mi. it does not sound to cheap to me. We get about 12 mi per gal, so you can see it cost quite a bit to tow one..

Campatthefort.com will charge about $140.00 per night for a large 5th wheeler. They deliver and set up the unit at the site you book and pay for at the fort. You can go on line and search for delivery services.

Just Google Fifth Wheel Camper transport. A lot of selections come up. It will take lots of research on your part. When you talk to the transport companies you need to spell out everything you need them to do so there are no surprises.

congrats on the new 5th wheel, we love ours and I can undestand the desire to stay in it, rather than a cabin or rental fiver. Its just a really great vacation in your own bed, and your own stuff!!!
