Need to start a new thread about this, can't post it in regularl thread for whatever reason.
Rode it the first time 2 years ago, sat by my hubby. I didn't know there was small grips to hang on too, thanks for that info, held on to him the whole time.
My daughter wanted to ride it agian, and hubby did not, so I was stuck riding it again, with no one to hang onto, obviously, I am not going to hang onto my 14 year old
We had taken a quick weekend trip to Disney, and she was just at that transitional age where she couldn't be in touch with her inner child, because although she wanted to be a grown up, she was still a kid, so most of the weekend was ruined by her cuz she was being too cool and couldn't get the fact that This was DISNEY, Everyone here wants to be a kid! Let it go!
This ride with me alone on the Tower was exactly what she needed, although it was the afternoon of the last day, to smile and laugh.
Because I wouldn't hang on to her and hadn't found the grips, I was completely freaking out,There is nothing to hold on to! There is nothing to hold on to!
The actual freefallness had started and I was a mess, laughing loud all the way up! Screaming top of lungs all the way down!
Well it was one of the segments where the ride stops and acts like it's done and your going to be getting off, when all of a sudden the doors slammed shut and we were off again!
Out of my mind I was! She was totally amused by it, laughing her little head off. She did thank me for the entertaiment.
Well, we are going back in a couple of weeks, and husband has already claimed he WILL NOT be riding it. Being the evil step mother
I am going to endure the ride with again for her satisfaction. I feel bad making her ride alone, cuz she wouldn't go on alone and I don't want her to miss out, she loves it!
I wish I could maintain enough to enjoy all that leads up to it, because it IS a cool ride with TONS of detail.
Thanks for the info about actually being pulled down I think that with psychologically help me.
