Everyone says they are getting a new "console".
Please excuse my ignorance............
but what exactly is a "console"???

ps........what part will be closed Oct 4 - 11, that is when we will be there.

Ride console is what controls the ride sequence.

So you mean like the computer controls and stuff?
Or the actual cables, machinery, motors, etc or whatever?

Is it like inside the ride shaft?

I'm just trying to picture what they are doing.

It's the computer controls....how many times you're dropped, what you see/smell, etc.
