We are thinking about having a photo session at TOT, just wondering if anyone has done this and has info or if you know where we could see pics of it. We don't want the traditional romantic pics in MK, we want fun. That's the reason we're getting married in WDW.

I am not sure if you can do a photo session at tower or terror, but it doesn't hurt to ask, that is an intersting choice :)...i have seen pictures of brides/grooms at the Haunted Mansion--on the outside atleast. Sorry I couldnt be more helpful.

You can have a photo session in Tower of Terror. Its the honeymoon portrait session, you have a choice of the castle at MK, World showcase at Epcot, TOT at MGM or Tree of life at Animal Kingdom!

I dont know of anyone who has actually done this shoot but i know someone had their reception in the Tower of Terror - i think her user name was "wonderwomanDC" - have a look through the wedding photos and it might be in there!

That seems *too* cool!! I haven't seen any pics from that, but I'm sure it would be really neat!! :stir:

Yeh that would be fantastic!... i'd love to have some pics taken infront of 'small world', its my fave ride.hehe :) . i wonder how some ppl managed to have pics infront of haunted mansion?. :)

Not sure if it's the same thing but we're having an intimate and using outside vendor for photography. I thought we'd just lose the photos included in the intimate package but no you get a photo shoot at MK park (or $50 for Epcot, AK or MGM).

It's when the park is open between 9 & 2pm in casual attire. Lasts about an hour and you get 20 shots in an album. I wasn't told about this I heard on the grapevine thanks to this board. Key is to book early before the park is too busy. Ours is booked for 10.00 on our 1st day. No wedding attire of course but I may wear white and my Minnie bridal viel.

unfortunately not to many....Disney is trying to limit the number of locations couples can go to during thewedding session (for the closed park sessions anyway, casual attire can go anywhere)....we got lucky and have a picture in front of tomorrow land...
but I have seen cute pictures of the haunted mansion and tea cups...

My DF is dying for Haunted Mansion photos with our MK bridal shoot.

I hope we get some pixie dust and it happens.
We seen another couples photos in front of the HM and he just about died and said he had to have his like that.

To schedule a Honeymoon portrait session, would I just call Disney? Or is there some other way to do it?

Pictures in front of the TOT sound exciting!! Good luck and I hope they let you do it!! :)

You can have the MGM, Epcot or Animal Kingdom photo shoot in your wedding attire, just like the Magic Kingdom castle photo shoot. This shoot is in the morning before the parks open. The cost is around $550...I talked to Rosie in photography about this a few weeks ago.
They also offer all locations for the Honeymoon package, where you do not wear your wedding attire and the shoot is during normal park hours. This is $250.

Wow I didn;t know that you could have them at the other parks too! I thought it was only MK, Epcot, and resorts, that is good to know...even though i KNOW i will still do the Magic Kingdom one it is nice to know there are different options. I love these boards--i learn so much!! :cool1:

How many pictures do you get for that price? Still only 20? and do you get a CD with all the pictures included or does that cost extra? I really want to do this but DH2B is worried about the cost. If I told him $550 for 20 pics he would freak out!
Thanks for all the info.

So if you wanted to, could you have both, e.g the magic kingdom photoshoot on the wedding day, and then another park photoshoot in your wedding attire the next day or something?...would have to save up alot of money!.lol

The other park photo shoots offer the same packages. They are only cheaper than MK because of the popularity of the castle location.

Rosie has a ton of information and usually gets back to you on the same day if you email her. Rosie.Carabbia@disney.com

We are doing the MK shoot also, we really want the castle because it is the original Disney park icon. We only learned about the other options because of the castle construction.

Also, she told me they are pretty specific about not taking brides and grooms to other locations, such as the Haunted Mansion (which we wanted) during the shoot. It would be hard to accomodate every bride's request. Also, those areas are often undergoing cleaning or maintenance in the morning and they do not want any of that in the background.

I'm planning on having the MK photoshoot, on the wedding day, but is it possible to have another photo session in epcot or something the next day, with all the weding attire on?. :)

Yes, you can do this if you want to wake up at the ungodly hour and get makeup done all again lol.

I'm curious to know the same thing! I'm gonna call Disney sometime this afternoon and let you know what I find out!! :)
