Tower of Terror, can I get nauseous?

I get motion sick going spinning around or going in circles (Tea Cups, Cinderella's carousel, you get the idea). TOT did not make me sick. You do get that "free for all" feeling as you drop - which makes many uncomfortable (DH can spin but hates that feeling). On TOT you actually are lifted off your seat for short spurts (there is a bar holding in - so nothing to worry about).

Ok, just my 2 cents....I did NOT get MOTION sickness, I have FEAR of this ride.

But will let you know, this past year was the 3rd time I did it (for that beating the fear thing). I never got motion sickness like Soarin, Star Tours, Etc...........just fear, but I love it.

Let me ADD I have a fear of elevators.....I like to meet my fears face to face....Maybe I am too scared to notice any possible motion sickness

I'm afraid of elevators too and i did TOT in DCA last year, but ours went up and down more than once from memory up down up (photo) down up a litle then stopped i think... i had my eyes shut most of the time.... lol....

the anticipation is worse than anything else i think...

I am prone to motion sickness but didn't have any problems with ToT. I don't even like most roller coasters because they give me a headache. I rode the ToT twice and had a blast! It's a great ride :cool1:
