Hi again.
I was wondering if any of you ever brought your room towels to the water parks when you were staying on site and just left them there when you left? Are you allowed to?
I am trying to figure out if we should pack beach towels or not for our trip next week.
Thanks!

You can rent towels at the water parks. I suppose you could take room towels, but I wouldn't leave them at the water park. I'm pretty sure they keep the linens for each resort & park seperate & each place accounts for it's own belongings.

Of note - we brought our own towels with us so we didn't have to hassle with renting. They never left our bag, not on any of our trips to the Water Parks....

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

We always take towels the day before from the resort pool and bring them to TL/BB. Then we bring them back with us and deposit them in the towel bin at the resort pool.

Ditto.

of course - we have left some behind...but figure all the towels look the same and all the towels get laundered at the same place. I'm sure they all get thrown in together and each resort takes X amount of clean ones and each waterpark takes X amount of clean ones.

so not a huge deal.

We do what Bob P and stinkerbelle do except we always drop ours in the towel drop at either TL/BB. The towels from the resort pools and the ones from TL/BB look exactly alike, at least to me if I remember correctly. We usually do this because we will sometimes try to go to one of the parks to see an evening show before we head back to our room for the night. This means that I'm only carrying 4 wet bathing suits instead of 4 wet towels. I was just telling my SIL this as we are going at the end of Nov. and will be doing MVMCP after either TL/BB. They usaully carry their own towels as they drive down and have the extra space but with flying we try to take the bare minimum.

We usually bring two or three of our own from home - it makes them stand out and easier for anyone one of us to spot our seating area - especially the younger ones - we use them only for the water parks.
