Towels for CC

I know you get them when you get off the ship but is there any other place on the island to get them??
We are going to ride bikes with family first and then get back on the ship. They plan on staying on CC for awhile.

You can only get them by the ship. We grab some and put them on a chair with some of our other stuff while we run/bike and then just pick them up. We've never had a problem with them not being there. We typically choose a chair towards the back of the beach area so that we're not taking up a chair that would be in a prime location.

There is also a bin near the bikes to put stuff in while people are running/biking. It's just one big bin, but you could put a bag with towels in there as well.

Thanks, that’s what I thought. I’ve seen the big bin by the bikes but have never put anything in there. I guess I’m paranoid, so I’ll just use my drawstring bag on my back when I ride like I always do. I’ll tell family the choices that they have.

I had the towels taken from my chair at Serenity Bay just about a week ago. They left the other chair with towels and our bag alone, though. And we had a chair in the back row, pretty far down the beach!

That stinks.
We have always had them with a bag or shoes, etc. Not just towels on a chair. Perhaps that looks too much like "saving" a seat?

They were taken by another guest. We saw it happen while we were swimming. They only took the towels and left the other stuff, so we didn't report it. They didn't want the chair, though. That was right where we left it and nobody was on it!

That is why I do not take anything of real value with me to the beach. My key card and magic band can both go into the water with me. I have left my phone behind buried in the bottom of a bag. However, I may get a waterproof bag and take it into the water with me. It seems that people are stealing more. I hate that in the world today I feel I must always look over my shoulder and watch to protect myself.

I just bring a little mini safe that holds cards and phones, then I carry around the key on my wrist. The safe attaches to a beach chair, so I suppose someone could cut it, but it would be pretty obvious. I also use it on the ship when we're in the pool.

Additionally, when packing, I fill it full of odds and ends in my suitcase so it doesn't just take up space, and frankly helps me keep track of small items.
