Celebration at the Top

EDIT: I finally got reservations today. My dining alert app came through! I set my alarm for 5:45est and nothing, waited til 6am still nothing. Randomly opened around 11:30ish.

Now I don’t know what to wear. I’m not really a dress up kinda of person but taking my mom for her bday so want it to be special. she’ll most likely wear a dress. I have dark jeans with knee rips (which I think should be fine) with a nice top it should look stylish, I think. Unsure on shoes, I’m usually sneakers - not sure if acceptable. Also not sure what the weather will be like mid February.

I’ve been keeping an eye on Celebration at the Top reservations for next month, I have multiple dining alerts set up and haven’t received anything. And have been checking the dining reservations on WDW site itself. Today a few dates opened up for Feb and March. But I can’t book any of them. Are they already sold out? I never got any alerts. Or are they perhaps loading them in the system and they aren’t available yet? Do they release at a specific time? This is the error message I get.

My biggest tip for this experience is to get there early. At least 30 minutes, but if you can try to get in line even earlier, maybe more like an hour. It's first come, first serve at selecting your table for the evening, so the closer to the front you are the more selection you have. We were the first elevator up so we grabbed a window table in the room with the bar, but there were also some other tables in the food room. Also head out to the viewing area before the fireworks start for a better view of the show. The viewing area will get full and the later you head out the further down the area you will be.

I know Mammoth Club did a video on this event so it might be worth watching. Enjoy your time. This is probably the only fireworks viewing experience we'd pay for again (maybe Rose and Crown too).

I’ve done this twice - it’s a great experience, and if you enjoy adult beverages, truly a good value! I’ve worn jeans and (I think??) boots in winter and a slip skirt and denim jacket in spring. I just booked for a Feb date as a solo, a little awkward as a solo, but I really enjoy the calm atmosphere and fireworks viewing - will decide clothing the week before based on weather, but note that it can be chilly on the deck . Thanks for posting, this wasn’t even on my radar!

I did it in August for my birthday, it was amazing. The food was delicious, and the service impeccable. I have to wear sneakers and I was quite nervous about it before going, it was perfectly fine. I was hoping to go back this winter but it is not available during our stay. We did all the dessert parties and after hours multiple time, this was by far my most memorable Disney experience. It was very windy on the deck, so cover up. Have fun!

I am a little disappointed I saw in one video you have to queue at the bar for a drink, I assumed servers would take your drink orders.

Any preferences on which room to sit in?

Our server did take our drink order many times. I went to the bar once with zero wait. Most people rushed to the bar in the first few minutes, in my experience it was totally unnecessary. We were the last party to enter the first elevator, so we went out first . We picked the best table near the window directly in front of the castle, and next to the bar
